the originalbisoshock to me felt ;like a game that didnt even need a sequel, well they made one, and now theyjust announced a third one butthis one is looking completely different with a city in the sky and wat not, i think the whole bioshock unibverse is justgetting to much done to it but i dunoo, i really think this will just be a AA series when they finally finish screwing aroundwith it. i mean i will still most likely play this but it just feels like they just keep makin this series more than it needs to be(if that makes sensse to hya) . well wat yu guys think, agree? or do u tghink this is the right thing for the franchise?

I liked the first one but I skipped the 2nd game. But I'm really interested in the new one.

If it only had 1 game could it even be considered a franchise?

Bioshock 2 was way too similar to the first one. It just didn't have the same impact. For me, Bioshock is a one game series.

I really like the direction they are going in, but I don't see where the BIOshock comes into play just yet.

Looks great so far. A new change of scene, especially a Steam-Punk theme FPS is unheard of.

It definitely has the same vibe (style/fashion) but this time its in the skies. I imagine the developers will go great lengths to make this game great. Hence, the risk they took to go out side of rapture

BioShock 2 was great, and Infinite looks awesome. So nope, I don't agree.

I absolutely loved the first bioshock. The second one was pretty good, but this new one looks absolutely amazing. I hope it can match up against the first bioshock.

Bioshock Infinite doesn't have anything to do with the other two games. It just has Bioshock in the name.

Sky-
Bio means life. It's in essence a life shock. So in BIoshock's case living under water would be a life shock. ANd im sure living in the sky would be a life shock.

You seem more hung up on the name than the actual content.

I thought Bioshock didn't really need a sequel, but I enjoyed Bioshock 2 a lot. Bioshock Infinite may inject some new life into the series. Sure, it will probably all be familiar but it will most likely include a decent story and the twisted morals of the original.

They totally ruined the impact with Bioschock 2. It was too literal- like the 2010 to Bishock's 2001: A Space Odyssey, you know? The new game looks intruiging, but I reserve judgement on it.

Honestly? They ruined the series at Bioshock 2. So no, considering its already been done.

more plasmids and dual wielding made the second more fun to play IMO. going back to play the first after the second you really miss the dual wield (well i did anyway).

If you have only played the first one are you in any position to judge? I wouldn't say they have hurt the franchise at all, they are infact building one (one game with no sequel isn't a franchise).

Well that's what happens when a game sells millions of copies. They make more of them. If it means expanding upon the universe as Bioshock is doing then so be it.

Both so far are great games, so I'm not sure they're ruining the franchise.

Good comparison. But I do enjoy 2010.

Hell yeah. Bioshock 1 was a more memorable experience by seeing Rapture up close for the first time. The return trip as a game played MUCH better. Bio1 had better locations and story but the gameplay was amped up much for the better in two. Loved both whole heartedly. Rapture is my favorite setting this gen.
