So I guess it might be possible to see Crysis on consoles, remember that we have not yet reached full potential of what the 360 and PS3 can do.

Unlike Ubisoft, Cryteck has been making the Cryengine two for the PS3.

Yet I believe that it won't traslate well at all.

Far Cry 2 looks incredible from what I've seen on the console pics, why can't Crysis, I own it too. I think there could be a chance it might come to consoles. It probably will due to the terrible sales.Gnr_Helsing

There are no 360 pics of Far Cry 2 is there? it was only just announced for the 360 ..... and no Crysis doesnt have terrible sales, damn why is everybody so fixated on 1 article that even said it beat thier expectations in AMERICA ONLY.

Assasins Creed could be done on alot lower requirments than what those reccomendations give, it jsut prooves that obsolutely no effort was put into optimizing the port ...

Clearly the irony of your own post has been lost on you.

I understand the Irony perfectly, but Assasins Creed has nothing on Crysis, we dont even know what the PC version of Assasins creed looks like.

Clearly the further Irony is lost on you, what makes you think a port of the most powerful PC game ... the only game out there that cannot be maxed while optmized on 8800's Duo Cores (better than 360/Cell) and 3-4 GB RAM will magically have less requirments when ported onto a console?

the fact of the matter is while crysis has great graphics it's just alinear shooter. you can go off the trail sometimes but it didn't hold up to the promises they made. far cry 2 looks like it will blow it out of the water..

That is true to some extent. There has to be some sort of direction to the game. If there wasnt then the game would never finish. But I do agree that Farcry2 looks to be doing an actual non linear game much like STALKER did but on even a bigger scale.

i agree with you %100. Crysis was an amazing game but it didn't live up to the open endednesss... far cry 2 hopefully will. having it where if you kill the leader the next one in line takes his place and opens up new missions is awesome.
