Anyone who says they dislike Halo 3 is a fanboy!

The quote you are referring to said that fanboys call Halo 3 "Halo 2.5" or "Halo 2 HD". Criticism of a game is not the same as "hating" on Halo 3, which is the second sentence of the quote you are referring to.
