Thats what you get when you use cheap chinese labor *I know microsoft and many others do as well* and trick people into repurchasing a phone over and over and over again with incremental upgrades yet still charging them near full retail price for the next upgrade.

Precisely why I don't buy any of their products.
but you will still go out and purchase an LCD television, another brand of MP3 player,PS3 etc and not give a damn bout them doing the same.
hypocrisy and delusion in its finest form.
oh yeah dont blame apple on the wage issues, blame Foxconn they are the OEM manufacturer that sells the SKU to apple.

Apple gives Foxconn billions of dollars every year.
We have every right to blame Apple for the wage issues, as Apple is one of the companies supporting the exploitation.

its buisness, the same issues were apparent in the industrial revolutions in the western world in the 1900's and is mimicing what is basically happening in the far east, its life but whats so funny is most manufacturers of hardware this gen including sony, microsoft and im pretty sure even Nintendo use foxconn aswell....so much for apple being the only bad guy eh? rules for one and rules for another on here as usual.
Its foxconn who are to blame at the end of the day they run the factories, apple only contracts them to manufacture the SKU.
People need to open their eyes im not saying what they are doing is right but its buisness.

I'm not saying that companies like Sony are without blame as well.
But Apple fanboys can't just say "It's not Apple's fault that workers are being exploited," as Apple is a company that's profiting from their exploitation.

Its really up to foxconn to manage the factory not apple though.
Foxconn's bout the only manufacturer of this type that can get the job done in the numbers the likes of apple needs for a launch aswell and its cheaper than starting their own plants aswell.
Its life and capitalism at its finest.

Apple has $500 Billion in net worth.
Surely they could sacrifice some of that to ensure their workers get fair wages.
It's more like sheer corporate greed on Apple's part.
so, they can just buy a country and ship all apple fanboys there so I dont have to hear how amazing their Ithing is every 5 seconds.
k im down with that XD

Everything costs alot though. You cant simply start giving out all your profit into peoples pockets. For example if you did that, sure everyone would have larger wages and be very happy but as soon as those billions of dollars are needed for R&D to keep infront of compition, to help pay for other peoples wages i.e. new employes, advertising, patients, lawsuits etc then the costs add up. Plus if they have all that money it keeps them safe in a few years incase something goes wrong. The company is always bigger than the idividual. I agree the workers should get fair payment but at the end of the day, business is about yourself. If you dont like that, run a not for profit organisation. Also people will easily "hate" on apple since they are the most popular brand ;)[QUOTE="razgriz_101"]

They actually bought one of the States. it's now called iDaho :)
I'm reporting you mod for being a Dud. :)Don't call Steve Jobs a hoarder! His salery was 1 cent!
But that's wild. If I had stock in apple I would sell it now. I don't see it growing any higher.

Just imagine being one of those people who bought Apple stock in 2000.
If you bought a hundred shares of Apple in 2000 you'd have spent around $2500
Today it'd be worth nearly $54,000.
And that's a pretty low investment. Just imagine the wealthier people who may have bought 1,000 shares, or 2,000 shares.....
I only wish I could have been one of them. I'd own my own house right now.

LOL, what do you mean by that? I tend to go for better products than what Apple puts out.
And I certainly wouldn't go for a LCD, either. LED's &/or Plasmas are better.

hypocrisy at its finest from you regardless. You more than likely own a PS3,360 or a Wii strangely all manufactured by Foxconn so sit down and stop being a godamn hypocrite like the rest of this bleeding forum and its pathetic sense of morality.

and the blind hypocrisy continues.
Research some come back with a decent arguement and try not to get pissy i've made a fair point bout foxconn and the industries in general.
Those that are complaining about Apple using cheap labour and thus not supporting them because of it, please turn around and put your PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, 3DS, Vita, and various PC parts in the can and burn them.
Then, say it out loud; "I will not buy an products that produced by Foxconn or companies that treat their employees in the same way."
ShadowDeathX
Indeed. Hell might as well go ahead and just put half of the stuff you have in the house along with it. Your cellphones? Put them in the trash. These devices need minerals in order to function, which, when funded by the collective... well... look at Congo.
The point is, it´s very easy to blame a corporation for being evil because of their use of cheap labor. But really, the collective--in this case you and me--are the ones to blame as well.
If you want to play the altruistic card then it´s very simple. Practice what you preach--by that I mean you´re going to have to give up on things that you´ve probably grown accustomed to. You know those things that make life all the more easy an convenient for you, but complicated for everyone else.
