I find people have the most problems with Apple devices and services when trying to mix them with other hardware. Once you get into the Apple echosystem of products they work flawlessly together. I have two OSX+ desktops, two OS9 desktops, an iphone 3, an ipod, an ipad 3, a macbook, two macbook pros and and apple airport extreme. and they all work flawlessly together, but not necessarily well with other hardware I have.Sali217

I would say that they work best together, which is NOT the same as saying they work well.

A snow leopard update required me to restart my macbook. It corrupted the files on my drive and I couldn't load up the OS. I couldn't even reinstall the OS from the CD they gave me. It's too bad that all of Apple's products are unstable trash. Why is it that Apple can't hire competent engineers? It as if walking into an Apple-owned area automatically cuts your IQ in half. That could explain why my stupidest student in my intro to programming class can code better than Apple's best programmers.

Again anecdotal evidence is anecdotal evidence. I've had nothing but good experiences from the Apple support team.

So having the most unstable mobile OS (VERIFIED by a legit study from Forbes) is anecdotal evidence?

Having an incompetent engineering team that built THE WORST navigation algorithm and almost killing a group of motorists in Australia is anecdotal evidence?

Getting your security breached by a 40-year-old basement dweller multiple times is anecdotal evidence?

Building an OS by yourself that makes Vista look like the best thing ever since sliced bread is anecdotal evidence?

All of these and more point to one thing and one thing only: Apple's incompetence. Why is it so hard for you to believe that Apple's garbage engineering team may have programmed a crappy update that bricked my machine? I don't think it's too much of a stretch.

I've only ever had problems with one of my apple computers (My macbook g4) and I've owned over 12 in the course of my life so who knows. Bad luck perhaps.

I do not really care about apple events. They announce overpriced products that only do half the things a android device can. I will admit I saw the black iphone 5 a while back at verizon and it is just a beautiful device, but it is held back by a closed source os and I really do not want a small screen. As for Ipad I think it is pointless just like most other tablets, especially when your phone has better portability and a laptop is faster and can do alot more things. The macs and macbooks cant really play any games which is a must if I am spending over a $1000. I know many people love apple products and enjoy them but for me they are overpriced and do nothing my windows desktop and android phones can.
