America is 360s main territory. I think it has something like 18 million sold here compared to 10-11 million PS3s.I live in utah. My bro has a PS3 at college... but around where I live and in my school I know tons of people with 360s and a few people with PS3s. Maybe its my age group, but of people ive met theres about 5x as many 360s
Pretty much everyone on my floor has a 360. My room mate is the only one with a PS3, which I enjoy swiping off him whenever I can, as I had to leave my own PS3 at home :P
So "just wait" lol sorry I had to but seriously that is silly just throwing out some random thought on what the future could be. Going by your thought ....but Sony could still be millions behind the 360 and nothing change from the way it is now.360 is US's territory so far, but that can change if Sony can market the PS3.

Kinda like 360 had to "just wait" for it's first AAA in 09 right? :P

Jan and Feb were the 360's first AAA's of '09, doesn't seem like much of a wait ... seems like PS3 owners are waiting longer this year :?Word of mouth is a large marketing tool. I tell everyone who is interested in a ps3 how awesome it is, and show them games if the opportunity is there to do so, if you get one your friends will see it, see its games, and want/get one. Thus, you will have friends who have ps3s
2 years ago it was 360 by a landslide
now tho a lot of people i know aren't gaming anymore, too expensive
the ones that still are gaming are just buying games @ discount on steam or still playing games from 2007

Why are you choosing a system based on who has it in your area? Find out what your actual friends have. If you don't have a lot of friends that game, but want online friends, your going to find plenty on any system. Does it matter if a friend you meet online lives in Utah or Finland?thecreechxxx

First you say it wrong and second trying to defend PS3 by bringing up AAA games when the 360 has more AAA games on here and Metacritic. Do you want to dig your hole anymore? Want to talk about what console sold more next lol?For the longest time 360 was the cool kid around here, but now the ps3 is taking most of the attention. Even the gamestop employees have dropped their fanboy swords.I live in utah. And i've thought about getting a ps3 for uncharted 2,heavy rain, killzone and such. Here in brazil, almost everyone has an PS2 or a PS3, its a little bit hard to see someone with a 360.

So why is your "cool" kid still in last place? Seems weird you saying gamestop employees "dropped their swords" yet the PS3 is still millions behind the 360. If the PS3 was so hip and now as you act you would think it would have at least pasted the 360 or heck be almost passing it or OMG at least not be millions behind the 360 ...then again we deal with SW logic hereI live in utah. And i've thought about getting a ps3 for uncharted 2,heavy rain, killzone and such. But i just don't know anyone that has one. its nice to know alot of other kids i can play games with.

You mean North America. Console gaming is dead in South America (third world place).

Heh. Looks like you're really taking all this to heart. With your paragraph explaining why teh Ps3 is in last place. So what?
Laugh. Out. Loud.

Where you able to argue anything I said or was the best you had to say "blah blah blah I am upset you said something bad about the PS3 blah blah "America is 360s main territory. I think it has something like 18 million sold here compared to 10-11 million PS3s.[QUOTE="Shattered007"][QUOTE="dkdk999"]

Not even in all North America. I think that the 360 is in last place in Mexico.Where you able to argue anything I said or was the best you had to say "blah blah blah I am upset you said something bad about the PS3 blah blah "SilentlyMad
Ha, okay I see where this is going. I don't know why I stuck my nose in it. *insert Lol emoticon*
Point: I play games not sales. I know the Ps3 is in last place, I know. Microsoft is doing a fine job with the 360. Period. Is that what you wanted to hear?
360s seem to be more popular in my area. Other than me, I only know 3 other people who own a PS3, two of which are good friends. The rest of my friends own 360s. Strangely enough, mine and my friend's PS3s have all broken, while my other friends 360s have experienced no problems. What are the chances of that?
