are 360's more popular where you live?

I live in utah. And i've thought about getting a ps3 for uncharted 2,heavy rain,killzone and such. But i just don't know anyone that has one. its nice to know alot of other kids i can play games with.

360 is US's territory so far, but that can change if Sony can market the PS3.

My bro has a PS3 at college... but around where I live and in my school I know tons of people with 360s and a few people with PS3s. Maybe its my age group, but of people ive met theres about 5x as many 360s

In my country I'm sure the PS2 is the most popular, followed by 360, Wii and PS3. And if you haven't guessed it, it's mostly because of the piracy.:(

Pretty much everyone on my floor has a 360. My room mate is the only one with a PS3, which I enjoy swiping off him whenever I can, as I had to leave my own PS3 at home :P

360 is US's territory so far, but that can change if Sony can market the PS3.

Word of mouth is a large marketing tool. I tell everyone who is interested in a ps3 how awesome it is, and show them games if the opportunity is there to do so, if you get one your friends will see it, see its games, and want/get one. Thus, you will have friends who have ps3s

2 years ago it was 360 by a landslide

now tho a lot of people i know aren't gaming anymore, too expensive

the ones that still are gaming are just buying games @ discount on steam or still playing games from 2007

PS3's seem to be more popular here in Brooklyn, that's one of the reasons I got one myself.

Why are you choosing a system based on who has it in your area? Find out what your actual friends have. If you don't have a lot of friends that game, but want online friends, your going to find plenty on any system. Does it matter if a friend you meet online lives in Utah or Finland?thecreechxxx

I live in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, and I believe that they are about the same in terms of popularity.

Playstation is far more popular here on Portugal. Lots of places dont even sell 360s

Most people i know who have a 360 sold theirs for a ps3 or a instrument

Here in brazil, almost everyone has an PS2 or a PS3, its a little bit hard to see someone with a 360.

I live in England and I'd say around this area the more popular choice is the 360. However, I think recently the PS3 has gotten a stronger fanbase and I've seen a lot of people switch from Xbox to Playstation.

Point: I play games not sales. I know the Ps3 is in last place, I know. Microsoft is doing a fine job with the 360. Period. Is that what you wanted to hear?

Here in Kuwait I know 25 persons with PS3 and only 3 with 360 (The 3 people who got 360 got a PS3 also) so Playstation brand still way stronger here.

360s seem to be more popular in my area. Other than me, I only know 3 other people who own a PS3, two of which are good friends. The rest of my friends own 360s. Strangely enough, mine and my friend's PS3s have all broken, while my other friends 360s have experienced no problems. What are the chances of that?

I live in San Diego, and Playtations are extemeley popular here. Virtually everyone I know owns one, and everyone I know down at school owns a Playstation 3. Much more common than Xbox 360.

I know about 20 people with a 360 only. I know of 3 people with a PS3 and of those 3, 2 of them own 360's as well. Oh, and I live in Boise Idaho for a geographical comparison. And we are all in our 30's as well.
