It's around 60% 360's and 40% PS3's.
I have a lot of PSN friends from school, but haven't played with any of them... ever.
I live in San Diego, and Playtations are extemeley popular here. Virtually everyone I know owns one, and everyone I know down at school owns a Playstation 3. Much more common than Xbox 360.

Strange. I live in San Diego too, but i know more 360 users than PS3 owners. A few such as myself have both.
while the Gamespot community seems to show a 360 bias that is changing in the real world.
I have been going to EB Games/Gamestop regularly for years and they have been recommending the PS3 over the 360 as a more dependable console for a couple years.
PS3 gradually caught up and finally are outselling the 360 in both systems and games but that is a surprise to no body in the video game business.
in my last convo at Gamestop I agreed with the asst mgr that while.
it would appear the 360 failure problem could be solved easily enough but there is money is to be made on returns and repair.
Also he is annoyed that he had to send back his fifth RROD'd 360 and is getting sick of it.
In Japan the PS3 is more popular :P

America is 360s main territory. I think it has something like 18 million sold here compared to 10-11 million PS3s.[QUOTE="Shattered007"][QUOTE="dkdk999"]
I live in utah. And i've thought about getting a ps3 for uncharted 2,heavy rain, killzone and such. But i just don't know anyone that has one. its nice to know alot of other kids i can play games with.

You mean North America. Console gaming is dead in South America (third world place).
 i laughed so hard. you'd be surprised at how many gamespot users are from south america. many of them own any of the current gen consoles.
[QUOTE="2mrw"]antartica?where i live, nobody knows that there is a brand called xbox !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no kidding.
delta3074
no. it meant outside your beloved america.
i live in Canada and the 360 is more popular.
but when i was in Asia, the Xbox was *totally* nonexistent. you can't even buy Xbox's from stores 'cause they dont have it. LOL. and yes, no one knows your beloved Master Chief there.
i live in such a town so small i believe theres only 2 gamers , me and 1 person i know , ,
i have all 3 he has a wii and 360 ,,so im guessing here, wii
also from my shoping experiences here, every one buys wii games ,, in fact last time i was in gamestop there was hardly any left , of the popularo nes and 10 percent more of the not so popular ones
i guess its xmas surge w.e . .
walmart has not many wiis here , but they always have a lot of ps3s and some 360s
360 is US's territory so far, but that can change if Sony can market the PS3.

the moment i heard that the playstation 3 was 299 i immediately knew i was getting one,
and it seemed to work because i ended up with the 250 GB slim, all the 120's were sold out
