It has won GOTY for 4 years in a row:

2008 Metal Gear Solid 4

2009 Demons' Souls

2010 Red Dead Redemption

2011 The Elder Scrolls V

This just proves which system is the superior this gen. Meaning that this is the third generation in a row that Playstation governs the gaming realm.

It even has even been dominating in graphics:
