in a way yes it is sort of a copy but a totally different implimentation. no cumulative score like achievements and gamerscore but the trophies are 3d models that will be encased in a massive trophy room where you can display your favorite trophys in a hall of fame sort gallery but there is also a place where you look out over the baclony in the trophy room and the actual trophy case displays hundreds even thousand of open spaces that gradually get filled as you win more trophies. there is also a kiosk sort area you can access to scroll through all the trophys you have unlocked. Its not as accesible as acheivement because people have to access your trophy room o see what you have accomplished but I like the idea of unique 3d trophys for each task that I complete has a nice visual flair and will feel much more impressive if you have an especialy large collection of trophies to show off to other users and friends.

I guess its kinda like achievements, only without the score. It sounds cool but it would only really be compelling if I can get a bigger and bigger trophy room as I gather trophies to show off, and others can visit my custom layed-out trophy room (even if I'm not online on the PS3).
