i stopped paying attension to gs score ever since R&C and the fact that it had "too many weapons" and had an "identity crysis" tht was the last straw. i meainly go by IGN and gametrailers now
I still check out the occasional review but yeah basically its just the forums. Pretty sad considering I've been visiting Gamespot (and Video Gamespot before they merged) for over a decade.
The news section is the reason I first came to gamespot. The forums are good for when I need a laugh. I still trust their reviews, allthough I never made a buying decision 100% based off of their reviews alone. I always read GS and IGN, then I check out what the average on metacritic is.
I used to come here for the reviews, but now i'm just here for System Wars. My 2nd year here I paid the $20 bucks a year fee. Now, I'd never do it. But I like to debat here sooo.
yes, I used to trust the reviews, but not anymore and they take a month after a game comes out to get a review up, I go to IGN for reviews, and Gamespot for forums.
Pretty much yeah, all of the entertaining editors have left and the reviews never really give that much detail on why a game is good/bad. I usually go to gametrailers for reviews.
Yep the only reason I use Gamespot is for the walkthroughs(even though I could get that anywhere) and the forums the review scores mean less than nothing to me, I've felt like that since last gen.
