Are they recalling in-store 360's?

I'm trying to figure out what is going on. I had to return my original XBOX to Best Buy because it quit working. It still had an extended warranty so they gave me in-store credit for my old box. The problem I have found in my area is that the 3 Best Buys around have none of the 360 models and they don't even show an estimated arrival of new ones being shipped in. Anyone heard any news on this?

Apparently, they are selling defective systems to you cheaper until the stocks are cleared for the fixed systems.
