Nope. Even after playing Crysis 3 maxed out on PC, I am still finding Tomb Raider on PC absolutely beautiful. I've found myself even saying "Wow!" a few times thus far. millerlight89
Yep, me too. Gameplay, graphics, narrative...all of these things are important to me. A lot of my enjoyment of video games is the fact that they can be these amazing virtual worlds to explore. Great graphics usually makes the experience much more enjoyable to me.
I wouldn't say I'm de-sensitized to good graphics. I always welcome good graphics.
I am, however, unimpressed by supposedly "good" graphics in very limited, linear game worlds. That doesn't give me any sort of wow factor.

I said "Wow" when I saw the tressFX in action for the first time, but I haven't really said "Wow" to anything else in the game yet. The graphics are better than average though, that's for sure.Graphics don't matter, i played silent hill 2 for the first time this January and think its a top 5 all time game. Great graphics matter the first 10 minutes you play, then you don't care and just have fun with the game. Unless your a Hermit and spend all day configuring settings to get grass textures at optimum levels so that you can show off your screenshots on messageboards.

Yea the whole "Graphics don't matter/aren't that important," is a bit silly. I just can't enjoy a game with bad graphics. However, I don't only look from a tech side. If a game is lacking in graphic fidelity, but has a good artsyle, I'm perfectly happy with that. An example of that would be something like Limbo, or most any other Indie game.Yep. PC gamers care too much about graphics...that's why Indie games do so damn well on PC. That's why Diablo did well, Starcraft 2, and so forth. Let's try and use that brain you were born with, even if you don't have that many brain cells.Graphics don't matter, i played silent hill 2 for the first time this January and think its a top 5 all time game. i think the only thing that would really knock my socks off at this point is cgi looking gameplay....
i've been a gamer for a long, long time and this generation seemed to have a lot of promise early on, but now more than ever it really just feels like been there done that... it seems like they're going to have to step it up a lot to keep gamers interested... vr could be nice.

Tomb Raider and THAT HAIR!!!!!ShadowDeathXI turned the hair to normal the hit on my fps was insane but the graphics were good. So even after looking at c3 maxed and c2 with the maldohd ver 4.0 mod I still like TR. Oh I heard sony won't let gamers play their digial copy of TR with out a internet connection
invisable war was awsome........Games are defintely still becoming amazing looking, but in my honest opinion i don't think the jump from PS3 to PS4 (at least what we've seen so far as CONFIRMED gameplay) is nearly as big as the jump form PS2 to PS3

still none the less....crysis 3 on ultra looks fantastic...but i could easily play it on medium to high settings and not give a crap

I played Deus Ex for the first time in 2006...6 years after it first came out and it still managed to become my favorite game of all time despite how it looked

Nope, played Tomb Raider yesterday and I was looking all around at the beautiful forest lara explores. The lighting in that game is also fantastic. One of the best looking games I have seen
