I'm a gamer who plays good games, no real allegiances besides maybe to LoL.
However, once I leave for the military in February I don't think I'll have all the free time in the world like I do right now, chilling at my parents home, so I'll most likely just stick with PC/DS due to perceived time constraints. If a next gen console looks impressive enough I may jump ship and I'm still working on a huge DS backlog before I trade it in for a 3DS.
i own pretty much every console this gen and tons from previous gens. i really dont give about the brand as much as i do about the games and services the consoles offer. right now i get the most out of my 360, still play wii and ps3 though. id be more of a pc gamer but my laptop sucks :(mems_1224
You know that's a much more understandable reason than saying you aren't nerdy enough to game on PC, figuring you post on video game forums on the weekend :P

But I go all out on technology and clothes lmfao. Once I graduate from basic training next spring I think I'm going to put some money into building a supercomp. Realistically I shouldn't need to spend over $800 since I already have a monitor, keyboard, headphones, OS, etc but I see the $1500 comps and it's just like GOTTA HAVE THE BEST.
And then I would play games that won't even use it :P

Army, active duty. My AIT is 34 weeks though so I'll be in training after basic till 2013 :P And yeah my recruiter said once you get done with training it basically turns into a regular job, so you get your nights and weekends to do whatever like everyone else. I just don't want to go buy a bunch of gaming stuff and not be able to take it with me if I get deployed or something :P
Pure Nintendo. I used to like Sony early last gen, but they now cater to the bro-gamers more than ever.
Ape Escape, ICO, Crash...now that's the Sony I love.
Killzone, God of War, and Socom? Not so much.

I've never liked Microsoft. I love their operating system--that's about it.
-
I'm also a huge fan of Sega...I wish they still made consoles.
I've owned Nintendo consoles in the past, but this gen I can only afford one console (I do own two SEGA consoles).
Nope I like all the consoles because they offer a lot of varienty, I could never see myself being a prue fan or a fanboy which 75% is made of.
No I am not, because that's just stupid lol. I do have my prefrences mind you and I like Playstation and the Sony brand more because I grew up with it and it's more suited to my tastes, but I do own a Wii and an Xbox 360 (it's broke though :( ) and I have fun with games on them. But I don't buy as many games for them as I do my PS3 because I just don't enjoy them as much as I do with PS3, but if it's a good game I'll enjoy it regardless of the platform it's on.
Really if you try and limit yourself to just one system or platform than your kinda missing out a bit don't ya think?
My allegience goes to Sony I've started with a PSone and have gone to the PS2 and Now i'm at my second PS3. I like that the PSN allows you to play for free and I like their exclusives. I like PC ttoo but I play only a few games on those.
I own a 360, ps3, 3ds, psp. I use my 360 most. My ps3 is mostly for the great exclusives like god of war, kz, uncharted, infamous, etc. 360 for my halo, gears, fable, AW, ninja gaiden fix, as well as multiplats. I lean toward lem, but at the cost of missing games? No way. The playstation brand and games are too good to miss.cainetao11I completely agree with your opinion, own them all and enjoy my 360 the most as well, but I am not getting rid of my PS3 or Wii. I feel sorry for anyone that is loyal to 1 company or hates a company. And it is nice to see older gamers on here, I am 37.
