Are you a single system or multi system gamer?

I love racing games and consoles, so i'll let you figure it out.

Also you have to realise that some of us have real lives that involves mortgages, partners, kids etc and don't have as much time as we once did so buying multiple gaming devices is just a waste of time.

Multi. PS4 and PC.

Multi........ although my PS4 and 3DS are my most modern systems.

Multi, I can’t imagine missing out on big AAA exclusives by just owning a single system. I want to play the hallmark games that will be remembered for all time, and those aren’t available on a single system.

I have Ps4. Last gen we had Xbox 360. Played the original gears of war and halo.

PS4, PS3, PC and Switch.

I might still get Majora's Mask for the 3DS, and will play some TxK on the Vita occasionally.

Mostly single. Do almost all of my gaming on PS4. Ocasionally I play PC and some legacy consoles

I do own a pc, ps4 and switch but, I always prefer playstation over everything else.

Multi-system. Right now, I jump between PC, PS3, Switch and 3DS. I don't use my Xbox One as much anymore.

I have 18 consoles hooked up at the moment, I'll let you guess which answer is the right one for me.

@SolidGame_basic: I still have many games that I'd like to play on PS3. I'm not ready to move on to PS4 just yet, otherwise I would need to re-buy all those games I want to play.

I’m a multi system gamer. Right now I am current with all the systems that I wish to own with the Xbox One, Switch, and 3DS. The only one that I’m lacking right now is the PS4 but I’m planning on getting one sometime this year perhaps.

Normally, I'd be a multi-platform gamer. But, this is the first gen ever where I'm not (yet) interested in acquiring a console. I like UC4 for the PS4. But, one game isn't enough. If I see Killzone 4 (Shadowfall doesn't count), that might perk me up. Another would be mouse/keyboard game support. I think Microsoft is implementing such an option for XB1X. If that is true, I may buy my first XBox ever.

I occasionally game on tablets. But, not enough to count. For now, it's PC only.

I play on consoles and handhelds, no PC gaming for more than 15 years ..... well, that’s not actually true, I still play on my old desktop every now and then, I should say that I haven’t upgraded to more modern PC gaming for the past 15 years or so.

I own multiple consoles but not all are hooked up, I do own several modded consoles that play games from several systems ( like my Wii ), now I’m thinking about getting me a Raspberry Pi.

Most of the time I own all console but this gen I totally skip Xb1 as I have no reason to get one!! I rather save the money for some fine dinning!

Multi system, I couldn't limit myself to one. From this gen, I've got a PS4 Pro, Vita, New 3DS, and Wii U.

Depends on the gen. Last gen, I got a PS3 for Demon's Souls and then had a PC for everything else. This gen, there are couple games I want to play on the PS4 like Bloodborne and God of War, but I honestly don't feel that spending the 300+ bucks would be worth it. So, it's just the PC for now. I have a Wii U, and I could get Breath of the Wild, although I do have the emulator on PC.

Overall, though, it feels like the it's the gen that does matter. I honestly don't feel like I'm missing out on much with just PC at the moment.

Not quite sure how to answer. Mostly singe but will then get another toward the end of the generation. I guess I focus on one console at a time, but buy a new one every 3-4 years or so. Not necessarily in time with the generations.

PS1, then Dreamcast, then Gamecube, then PS3, then Wii, and I just recently got a Switch. Switch is the first console I have bought while it was still considered new.

The last times I was a one system owner was Saturn/PS1 era. I traded my Saturn in for a PS1. Once my second PS2 DREd I got an Xbox. I couldn't get by with just a PS2 after playing the games PS2 not only didn't have but couldn't run. Since I have been a multi system owner.

I am a gamer so I game on any and all systems.

I do have a preference but I play games not systems.

Multi, but I only buy the consoles because they have exclusives not available on PC. Otherwise, consoles are shit and I would be 100% PC.

I usually try to get the best experience I can when playing a game. Which basically just mean PC unless it's a PS4 or Switch exclusive.

I mean... c'mon... I can't let those pesky exclusive deals keep me from playing good games. I only hope that one day games like Horizon Zero Dawn get a remaster so we get to play them at a proper frame rate. Heck I'd even be okay if it's a PS5 exclusive remaster as long as they do the game the justice it's deserved. Those poor games. It's gaming treachery, I tells ya :(

I also thought about getting Zelda on Wii U and just skipping the Switch alltogether. But then I realised the game runs at 20 fps and Nintendo is never fixing that.

Have you got Zelda HD Wind Waker and Twilight Princess ? Better just stick with those.

Yeah same here... I mainly stick to one system nowadays, because I just don't have the time to dedicate to more.

Although I'll probably end up buying a Switch eventually too, as a backup to my XB1X to play every now & then.

Ever since I first owned a Nintendo DS, I have been a multiple system owner. Since that time, I have owned both a home console and a handheld system.

I'll be getting a Switch after it gets a decent price drop and more games, hopefully next year.

Nah, Zelda games just lost their charm with me after Ocarina of Time. I don't know. I played a couple of the new ones and just wasn't pulled in at all, so I'll probably never bother with it. If anything, I'll emulate it at super high res on PC lol.

Shame man, Zelda Wind Waker is probably my favourite in the series. It just oozes charm. I'm sure it can be picked up for really cheap too !

I got Zelda The Wind Waker HD with the Ganondorf statue before I even got a Wii U, that's how big of a fan I am lmao !

I'd love to play Breath of The Wild, myself. But honestly I'm not down to invest 300 euro into a system for a single game, and I don't want to settle for the 20FPS Wii U version either. I'm screwed :P

Hooked up and ready to play at my house are PS4, PS2, Switch, 2 Xbox 1's, 2 360's, and a Sega Genesis. I play about 70% on my X1, 20% on my 360 and the other 10% on the PS2 and Genesis. The Switch and PS4 get most use from my son. I will revisit the PS4 when Spider-Man releases.

Not hooked up at the moment but still get use once in a while are my 2 NES's, Dreamcast, N64 and 1 more 360.

Multi-system. PS4, XB1, Switch, 3DS, Vita, Mac, and then the older consoles. None of them are really a priority over the other; really comes down to where I get a good deal and whatever game I'm into at the time.

Multi - nes, nes mini, snes mini, Wiiu, ps3 and PC. But I mainly play on PC or Wiiu.

Also got 3ds, vita, gameboy advance and colour but I rarely play handhelds.

Doubt I'll get another console except for a switch for bayonetta 3.

Multi, obviously. There's no formula; I just play whatever I feel like at the time.

Used to be multi (PlayStation and PC) but my desktop is getting kinda old and I can't be arsed upgrading it. Maybe I should.

For now I guess I'll just stick to the PS4. My backlog is ridiculous.

By far I'm predominantly a PC gamer but I do own a dust collector, sorry a PS4, and regularly play games with my mates on their Xboxes.

Anyone who can afford to play all systems but places allegiances into only one through some misplaced sense of loyalty is a complete moron.

Single at the moment. The PS4 is a beast with so many games to play and a bright near future.

• For me ,the PC doesn't have any exciting exclusives so I don't feel like investing in it.
• At E3 , Microsoft basically told me to wait until next gen. Will do.
• I didn't have a Wii Ewe , so a couple of ports and a multiplat makes the Switch look better than it actually is.The system is still young , but feels outdated and something that could make my eyes go bad or bleed.
