I am willing to give them a chance as well I am willing to wait 1 or 2 years to see the failure rate and reports of the next gen xbox from places like here if next gen m$ hasn't putten their acts together m$ products = ban.

I have always been a sony supported, since i was 7 with my first ps1. But i had it with it, the company does not listen to us anymore, it loses exclusives, it takes too long to catch up in terms of features.

I happily took 1000$ bucks of my wallet to pay for the ps3 when it first came out ( 60GB) because i knew it was worth it, now not so much.

Next gen i m getting the cheapest console+my gaming pc

I have no idea...

I started out with the N64 and then the ps1, but when the ps2 came out I instantly loved it with ratchet and clank and spyro funnily enough (insomniac FTW) and right through the gen the ps2 obviously had the better games.

Though this gen Ive sided with the ps3, Im becoming much more even. Despite the ps3 having the better looking exclusives its obvious that MS will be taking the gaming market in the same way they take every market. They will literally push the competition out by being incredibly aggressive.

Whilst sony still crawls along MS has literally priced sony out of the competition so far, even if its cost MS huge amounts of money. Theyve also added so many great features to the 360 that I dont think the ps3 will ever catch up.

Net gen Im wondering if i will be siding with the next xbox. At the end of the day M will do EVERYTHING to keep ahead. In other areas theyve literally been taken to court for being so aggressive and for unfair play, but they dont care, a bit of cash, a slap on thw wrist, they know they play dirty, but they do it anyway to get in the market and push everyone else out.

And next gen will be the same, the xbox will continue to push ahead at breakneck speed, and if sony doesnt catch on, then playstation is in for a horrible end...

I've never "changed sides." I was with Sega until they died, and I added Nintendo and MS along the way to fill the void. If the next playstation has games that I want (unlike this gen), I'd welcome it along with the others.

How desperatehave sony become, I downloaded the gamecon conference and the way they guy boast about Sony pushing the industry forward by innovation and he then went on to unveil new features for PS3 (guess what 360 already does all that and more), he then goes on about how the new motion controller will completely change the way we interact with or games( guess what the Wii's been doing that for tha last three years).

The PS3 has sold 24 million units worldwide, only 9 million in US. Can the price drop help without the support of Japanese developers, thats what made PS2 such an awesome console, this gen is nearly over and theres nothing worth remembering about PS3

I'll buy which ever one I like best. I liked PSX over Nintendo 64, I liked Gamecube over PS2 and Xbox( probably the only one in the world lol) and this gen I like the 360 best.

I'm not part of a side, especially not Nintendo's. I dunno, I'll buy whatever is released first probably. Unless it's super-expensive.

Yes I know I'm an idiot for being an early adopter. But I can't help myself. And in the case of the PS3 it has actually turned out to be a good thing. Who would've thought they'd remove features?

Well, if anything's certain it's that Nintendo's handhelds will always be the best, so I'm 99% I won't change sides in that department.

But this gen every console flip flopped around from last gen. This gen 360 has the best library of games, the Wii is nothing like the Gamecube in that the Gamecube had kick ass games as well (three GotY I might add), and the PS3 is nothing like the PS2 in that it's library consists of mainly games that appeal to the typical western, "lol I'm hardcore" gamer which is sad.

I didn't even pick any of the home consoles this gen though. Already have a PC so no need for a 360 for the most part, like i said the Wii is not as awesome as the Gamecube, and the PS3 does not appeal to me with it's lack of awesome games. DS beat them all out this gen.

I've always bought what I felt had the best games. First it was Nintendo 64, then Playstation 2, and now Xbox 360. If it follows a pattern, next gen, I might go with Nintendo...probably not, but who knows.

Fanboy = You like a certain console over the other ones

Fanboy =/= You are not allowed to like/enjoy any other platforms

Considering I was a "cow" until E3 2005 (when 599 USD and Giant Enemy Crabs came out), a "sheep" until August 2007 (when the novelty of waggle wore off) and basically been "nothing" until now. I doubt I will "change sides" next-gen, let alone know which console(s) I'll end up with.

Playstation every Generation!!!

I am going to delay buying a console next gen. If Nintendo is doing as bad as this gen I will go to Sony. Never MS. They should stick to my favorite operating system.

As a loyal sheep I will stick to Nintendo consoles:D

as long as there is a halo on m$ next egn console i will be getting it. If not i will probobly still go m$ first if there is bc so i can play halo 3 =) and the next gen games.
