I ws only marginlly interested until the newest multiplayer trailer...in which case I promptly jumped for joy and went out and preordered it :P

Well hopefully Treyarch realizes the success they had from WAW came from the crazy multiplayer modes like nazi zombies and they will take more risks in that department. Make the game a bit more off the wall etc. than modern warfare. And hopefully they dont ruin the standard multiplayer though by going completely out of control with Killstreaks and perks etc like IW did. If its balanced and fun I will buy it.

I've said it a zillion times; the best way to support Activision is to go out and buy Halo Reach, Medal of Honour, GT5, Alan Wake, RDR or *whatever* game you like new this holiday. Play those games, enjoy them, beat them. By then more probably will have come out. Eventually when you want something to play, pick up Black Ops for $20 used. You get to enjoy the game, the multiplayer will still be active and Activision dont get a penny from it. :)Ninja-Hippo

I'm not. It will be a MW2 clone, most likely. Other than that, I hate how greedy Activision is getting. Zombie maps exclusive the the two special editions? Possible subscription? I'm not rewarding Activisions greed, and will not buy this. Possibly used (slim chance), anything to not support them.

I don't see the appeal of yet ANOTHER Call of Duty or Medal of Honor. Whats the point? I don't like it when people want video games to fail, but I want Call of Duty and Medal of Honor to fail. They are not helping the video game industry, they are like all the Madden games (or really any game from EA Sports), the Guitar Heros, the Rock Bands. They are showing that video games are not art because they can simply be replicated an infinite number of times and still be successful.

No other popular medium can do that except for video games.

I want to play the campaign, but that's about it. Online does nothing for me.

Nope not this time, I have other games that are higher on my list at the moment.

vietnam is the absolute best war setting, yet there hasn't been a good game made from it. someone needs to take the idea of shellshock and make an amazing FPS out of it. with all of the horrible moral choices and amazing soundtrack of the era. a proper nam game would be amazing.

butttttttttttttttttttttttttttt, CoD hasn't been good since 2, with each new game getting worse and worse. so no, I am not hyped for black ops.

I may purchase it used to play through the campaign. I can't justify giving Activision more money though. (had to buy starcraft)
