That's one example, one. I didn't say Halo or Halo 2 would've been the NUMBER 1 SELLING GAME OF ALL TIME, I just said it definitely is one of the elite franchises CURRENTLY, in quality and sales.

I played and HA;CE and it was aright too slow, you could only hold 2 weapons, the weapons were a little boring, the story was aright but USUALLY EVERY FRICKEN ROOM LOOKED THE SAME IN 2 BRATREL AND MORE. And people call Resistance repetitive halo is too repetitive. And now HAlo 3 is supposed to beat PS3's every game. I will start doing that FINAL FANTASY 13 WILL BEAT EVERY GAME THE 360 HAS.

And it has 2 games in the franchise, compared to the tons of Pokemon games, Mario games, Zelda games, Metroid games, GTA games, etc.

For only two games, on a system that was crushed in sales numbers, Halo has done amazing in the sales dept.

Its actually an average of 11 million, but again, like I said, it was sold on a system with a userbase of about 5 times that of the competition.

Not saying it matters, but Halo has managed to be in the top ten selling games of the last generation, and if Halo 3 is not in the top 10 this generation, I will be floored.

I'm pretty sure Halo 3 is going to beat every PS3 game this year. Want to hear why? Of course you do!

MGS3 - Halo 3 will beat it, 1) MGS doesn't have multiplayer 2) MGS only offers limited stealth-action gameplay that isn't as universally appealing as Halo 3's gameplay, which involves both single-player and multiplayer, and allows you to tackle its open-ended environments any way you choose.

Heavenly Sword - Halo 3 will beat it. 1) HS will likely not have multiplayer. 2) Heavenly Sword is basically an action beat-em-up that may get tired, but I could be wrong (God of War succeeded along these lines). Even so, Heavenly Sword will not offer the same kind of replay value months after its release as Halo 3, once people have beaten through the campaign and focus on multiplayer.

WarHawk - Halo 3 will beat it. 1) Warhawk doesn't have single-player, which hurt Shadowrun. 2) It won't do anything that Crimson Skies already did, and did better.

After playing the Beta, I canceled my Pre-order :P

Multi was boring as sin to me :( Only thing thats gonna make me buy that game at this point will be if they have co-op for 2 + players for the single player story, and over XBL, no stupid split screen crap.... ( GOD I HATE SPLIT SCREEN ! :evil: )

Yeah right, that number is a freaking joke. It's only 4,931,506 matches each day... noob. Please, there's tons of other games that average over 200,000 matches per hour over a two and a half year period.

Not many people will agree with you about halo being repetitive and boring, considering how incredibly popular it is. I haven't heard many lemmings even saying this game will beat all the games on the PS3, it probably won't, but it will still be a fantastic game.

Final Fantasy gets worse and worse, I was an avid fan of the series, but come on they arnt all great, Mass Effect ... now thats an RPG worth noteing. Hell FF12 copied the battle system of KOTOR/Neverwinter because thier older way wasnt cutting it anymore.

Only so many craptastic Japanese RPG's which focus on the "9999 damage is teh skill" over most Western RPG's that limit you to choosing character building correctly, and actually have optional diologue instead of scripted stories that are nearly identical everytime.

Be honest with yourself, are Killzone 2, MGS4, or Haze going to have 100% attach rates on the PS3? Unless they do, Halo 3 will blast them out of the water in term of sales. Not only that, but Halo 3 is a system sales driver - so in the months following its release, it will boost 360 sales and attach rates greatly.

I did see some of the Haze hype that has been recently denied in here, though... not to mention that the original posters argument is still true to this day. Like it or not, Halo 3 was a huge seller.

I'm curious to see what will be the next big seller for the 360 during the window between now (GTAIV period) and Gears of War 2.

I have to admit that last generation I made the mistake of buying a Playstation 2. I did not understand the hype about HALO and was uninformed about it's innovation and story that made the game great. Shortly after buying the PS2, I played HALO at my friend's house. You see I had made the decision to go with the less-risky console and stick with something I knew would have its fun moments. Oh how very wrong I was. After I had played HALO for the first time I ran out and purchased an XBOX. It was one of the best gaming purchases I had ever made. I soon became an XBOX fan and was devoted to help bring the US into the console market. Now they have the 360, the best console on the market. They also have the best game, HALO 3.Now I will admit that I am a HALO fanboy. The only console I own is a 360 but I have played the other two a great amount. Now there are some games that interest me on the Wii, but I can honestly say that not one, NOT ONE, game even garners my remote interest or attention on the PS3.

Now on your quote. Your lack of knowledge, effectiveness, and lack of spelling/reading comprehension clearly exemplifies how you are simply a jealous cow trying to strike a nerve with 360 owners. You know we have the best games, the best console, and you know we are advancing the gaming industry more than the PS3. Sony is sticking with the same formula on all of their games and playing it safe. All the while Microsoft is innovating and trying new things. True, not all of them work, but Microsoft and its third-party publishers have created most of the best, and best-selling games in previous years. HALO 3 is the best game out there today. You are entitled to your opinion. But it is soblatantlyobvious that you are purely tying to aggravate 360 owners. And I'll tell you what. It's simply not working.
