Playing Modern Warfare 3 sp for first time. Not great as MW 1 or 2 tho.

Well?
just beat max payne 3 again. replayed it after 2012. its best rockstar game ever ever made. but not best max payne game.
Funnily enough I just stuck on the first Bioshock, wasn't bad at all. My receipt was in there, and I bought it 10 years ago last month, which actually made me question how much games have advanced over the last 10 years. I mean, there's significant jump between 1997 - 2007, and a much bigger one between 1987 - 1997, the last 10 years comparatively has not seen that much progress at all. Maybe the apex of gaming is just around the corner, and then we'll slowly retreat back through the 16/8-bit era, ending up with us all contently playing pong.
I just reinstalled to my laptop, the GoG versions of all three STALKER games, Metro 2033 Redux, and Fallout: New Vegas. I also reinstalled my disk version of Crysis Warhead because it doesn't need the disc to play it. I might do the same for Crysis 2. It too doesn't need the disc for playing.
The laptop is 4 years old. But, it can handle most games fine up to Far Cry 3 with its 768p screen.
Been playing a bunch of Gamecube lately, and been ordering more games for it. I've been playing games like Sims Bustin' Out, P. N. 03, Splinter Cell, Rogue Ops, Rainbow Six 3, Beach Spikers, and Freedom Fighters.
Yea was Samurai Shodown i II and GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES, which is probably the worst name they could give it.
Not yet but I am gearing up to. I got a raspberry pi ready with a good selection. I even cut a hole in the case and added a blue LED power button so I can safely turn it off without SSH. Just a neat, little retro box that I can take places. I also got a bluetooth SNES controller to use with it.
I was thinking of giving FFVI a run-through.
I was playing Perfect Dark because I was in the mood for a shooter, but now that Destiny 2 has released I may not be going back to that.
Otherwise, Persona 3 FES when I can. I haven't played it for a couple of weeks now, but I'm trying to get through that.
I always have retro games as a part of my regular rotation. This week I've been playing Mega Man X, Sonic 3 Complete, and Sonic Mania (if that counts).
I have a great fondness for retro games, though most of my Steam backlog consists of games from this generation, and a handful from the previous (X360, PS3). Not sure how far back you mean by "old". And currently playing Ghost Recon Wildlands.
Playing the Witcher 2 via backwards compatibility on Xbox One in preparation for finally diving into The Witcher III later this year once the Xbox One X launches.. I've had the game forever but never got around to playing it.. I'm glad i waited now since I'll be able to play the enhanced version..
I've been really wanting to play Dead or Alive 4 recently, but I can't seem to pry myself away from the Switch to do so.
I've been wanting to for a while. I still have my old PS1 hooked up in hopes that I'll find some time to play one of the games I never got around to playing, but new crap keeps coming out. I'm trying hard to stay current but I simply can't find the time.

Nice. I really love the Witcher games. I played all of them on Windows PC and 2, 3 on X1. I'll be firing up 3 again when I set up my X1X.
Populous the beginning. Still one of the best RTS games ever. And I recently played through the expansion of SWAT4.
I was possibly going to play Freespace 2 for real, but now that I have VR I may opt for Elite Dangerous cause from what I hear it's one of the best VR experiences out there.
BTW Super Hot in VR is bonkers. I love it. Absolutely worth the coin.
Phantasy Star 3 (I know)
Also fired up Lightning Returns to see how good the Steam port was. Didn't expect to be running thru the full game... but it's looking that way.
A few others in rotation:
Borderlands 2
Legend of Grimrock 2
Teleglitch. Die More Edition
Ziggurat
Monster Hunter Gen
@Sam3231: I really wanted to get into that game, but I just couldn't. I've tried playing it multiple times, but to no avail.
Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds (PC) - Fun, but still nowhere near as good as Empire At War (which, like The Clone Wars cartoons in between 03 and CGI, had it's own identity while this was practically a clone). Still, can't go wrong with Rebels vs Battledroids or Wookies vs Gungans.
Tomb Raider 2013: Definitive Edition (XBOX ONE) - Stuck at that damn wind tomb.
Whatever the hell's on Rare Replay (XBOX ONE) - Last time, it was Battletoads Arcade, Perfect Dark, and Killer Instinct Gold.
I played some N64 multiplayer games with friends this past weekend (Mario Kart 64, Mario Party 2, and No Mercy). It's also starting to get close to Halloween, so I will start playing some classic Castlevania games soon.
@indzman: I'm playing the original everquest tonight with a college buddy.
Original graphics, on an emulated server, locked to just 2 expansion releases.
Back in the day, I was running it on a 64 MB Geforce 2 mx lol.
My character looks like the guy on the left. Super detailed and dead sexy.

I still dabble in quite a few older XBLA titles because they're very fun for short bursts of fun and never grow old, and they're BC on Xbox One, don't take up much hard drive space neither. I often dabble probably mostly in Geometry Wars 2, Pac-Man CE DX+, Lumines Live!, and Boom Boom Rocket.
depends on your definition of old.
I am currently working through my ps4 backlog which involves games released pre 2017.
I still play SNES all of the time.
Currently Playing 7th Saga
Working on Beating it with the worst of the 7 characters you can play as Valsu. I remember back in the day this game had the best graphics EVER! It is a cool game because you get to pick one of 7 characters who all want the same thing. You will run into the characters that you do not pick every once in a while, and sometimes they will join you, and other times they will try to kill you and steal your stuff. They even have it so some of the characters just do not like each-other and it really shows in game. Super underrated Enix Game.
Gonna be starting Skyrim for the first time ever on PS4. Then i think i get an Xbox One S just for BC and Quantum Break. Nothing new to buy just bad shooters like Noob Duty WWII or boring Destiny. Better play old games.
