Just started playing Blade Runner from westwood for the first time since it came out, such a great advventure game I forgot how atmospheric it was.
Also just finished Star Trek Elite Force 1 and 2 and started on No one lives Forever 1
Funnily enough I just stuck on the first Bioshock, wasn't bad at all. My receipt was in there, and I bought it 10 years ago last month, which actually made me question how much games have advanced over the last 10 years. I mean, there's significant jump between 1997 - 2007, and a much bigger one between 1987 - 1997, the last 10 years comparatively has not seen that much progress at all. Maybe the apex of gaming is just around the corner, and then we'll slowly retreat back through the 16/8-bit era, ending up with us all contently playing pong.
Games during the 360/PS3/PS4/Xone era are just about graphics/resolution.
Gameplay hasn't improve.
Been playing a bunch of Gamecube lately, and been ordering more games for it. I've been playing games like Sims Bustin' Out, P. N. 03, Splinter Cell, Rogue Ops, Rainbow Six 3, Beach Spikers, and Freedom Fighters.
Where do you order your classics?
just beat max payne 3 again. replayed it after 2012. its best rockstar game ever ever made. but not best max payne game.
Is that a bold statement?
Yeah, gone on a platformer binge, so currently playing Darkwing Duck and Megaman 2, however on PC, since the input lag from either the PS4 or the TV, makes it near impossible at times. I think I play through 6-14 old games each year.
Oh and Oktober is creeping ever so slightly close, which means the yearly playthrough of System Shock 2 is coming :D
I have a lazy boy set up in front of a 27" CRT with Retron3, PSOne, and Wii hooked up. Playing Mario with actual carts and the real controllers is great. Also been playing Tekken 3, Twisted Metal 2, and on Wii Double Dash.
I finished Witcher 2 for the second time a few days ago, which was awesome, then I started playing Bully... but I've given up on it. The missions just get too repetitive and alittle annoying.
@PSP107: I've been ordering all my stuff on eBay, also where I got my Gamecube.
There's no classic game shop near your area?
How is the eBay process anyway? Not sure I would want to trust that route.
There is, but most games I've seen there are in bad shape.
I've had very little issues, majority of my games have been in good shape like they advertised. There's also the eBay Buyer Protection if there's something wrong with your order and you can always contact the seller too before buying something.
Not that old, but been heavily replaying through Fallout 4 again. Only got about 130 hours into it so far, but haven't even progressed far into the main quest at all. Got a lot more time ahead, plus all the settlement building I got to accomplish. :)
Final Fantasy 13
It's not as bad as the media and people made it seem to be.
Its Awesome. If you enjoy 13, go for 13-2 as well. You can go for lightning Returns, its very enjoyable but timed missions/days in order to get best ending :)
I definitely plan on going through the trilogy. Currently on Chapter 7-8 at Hope's house. The paradigms are great fun and the strategy in battle is exciting and fast paced. Nice to see someone else also like it:)
