Are you ready for Crash Bandicoot remastered?

I happened to see a demo unit of the game at Best Buy today and the graphics look pretty awesome. I didn't get to play it though, because the person was hogging the controller. But just by looking at them play, it looks like the original games with today's visuals, which is great. It made me more hyped for the games, because I was a little eh about it. What do you think, SW? Any interest?

I'm pretty excited for it. Was my second favorite Playstation platformer next to Spyro. Comes out the week after my birthday too so it'll be a late present for myself.

The Crash series has always been hot garbage. Crash was 3rd in the mascot wars behind Mario and Nights. I don't understand who this is for.

My money is ready, but my heart isn't.

I'm nearly ready I should have a ps4 by the time it's out.

I cared enough to pay a few dollars to get it on PSN back on the PS3, but that's about the extent of my interest in revisiting such a series for the sake of nostalgia. I'm ready to pass for now.

I enjoyed those games back in the day but I'm not really chomping at the bit to revisit them. When I get a PS4 I doubt that I'll ever pick this up as there are other games that I'd much rather get first.

I did same with voodoo vince. Cute games I remember havi8ng laughs with but not giving them $ again

crash games were never that good people are just blinded by nostalgia as is the case with nintendo

Honestly this game looks crap compared to 3D platformers of its time like Super Mario 64 or Banjo Kazooie.

But it also looks crap compared to 2D platformers of its time like Donkey Kong Country.

They put a lot of effort into this remaster, that much is clear. If only they spend that effort into a game which gameplay hasn't aged this horribly.

I'm interested in 1 and 2 with 2 being my favorite of the series and 1 because I never did finish it. 3 will probably suck trophy wise with the time trial stuff and all those gimmicky levels.

I'm very excited for it! I love the old Crash Bandicoot games and this looks like it is shaping up to be an excellent remake.

This guy's reaction in this video is similar to how my reaction was when they announced this game.

Really on the fence with this one, I love the style of the PS1 versions more.

Also since this is timed exclusive I'll maybe buy it on the Xbox One if it comes out on that.

Yay a new generation can learn that the Crash games secretly always sucked, and were really just good commercials.

I am excited, but I just replayed all 3 of the games in the winter of 2015 on pc with epsxe. The graphics overhaul is a welcome edition for me. The edition of true analog suppirt for the first games is a plus aswell. I hated mapping my left analog as dpad when I played the first game....it worked but it was quite janky. Then when I went to 2, I had to fix the controls back to normal.

Crash is lame

I never played the original Crash so I am looking forward to this. Figure it might be fun. Reminds me of the modern runner unless I am wrong in thinking that.

Maybe when its $5 or less on PSN, or when it comes to Steam.

Just doesnt look that fun to play, especially after being reminded of the gameplay in UC4

Either you're slow or a fanboy.

If anything you got "triggered" or offended by me suggesting Crash Bandicoot Trilogy isn't worth full price.

I didn't use those exact words but non fanboys wouldn't have gotten that confused.

So ready. When I got my PS1 it was a few years into it's life, Crash 1 came with it, and I bought Crash 3 with money I got that Christmas, it'll be fun to revisit those two games. Also, despite my love for the series I've never actually played Crash 2, so on that front I'll also have something brand new to explore as well.

I was ready but I think this game's gonna be 30fps because so far every bit of gameplay shown and even the demos have all been 30fps, so I'm just gonna wait till the inevitable PC port.

I'm still trying to figure out why this is even a thing. I remember when the original crash game came out. It wasn't good back then and I doubt a remake will make it any better. Pretty sure the #bringcrashback was just a troll job.

If I ever get a PS4 someday it's one of the first games that I'll pick up!

What's your take on Crash Team Racing?

Loved that game at the time, not sure how'd I feel about it now, I also liked Crash Bash, but the rest didn't resonate with me.
