Are you switching allegiance next gen?

I might end up buying a Series S at some point but, I'm mostly sticking to the PS5.

I already have an "Xbox". Will get a PS5 eventually. No allegiances needed.

Nothing changed, except I find less reasons to buy a PS5 right now. PC+Switch.

My allegiance is and always will be with the Principality of Gallia; as for gaming plans, I will upgrade my PC by the time Homeworld 3 is released, and I'll get a Switch and PS5 later.

On paper PC seems logical. Pair with gamepass, use the same xbox controller i've been using, skip having to pay for xbox live. Seems like a decent enough idea.

However, I have no motivation to make such a move. We have a home PC and don't need another one. I don't have any desire to look into upgrading my current PC. I'd have to get a new monitor. And I don't think I would have been ok with waiting that long to play GTA or other games with delayed release dates.

I don't have enough time to dedicate to gaming to make it worth it. That being said, I can understand why XBOX gamers might consider making a switch this gen.

Not sure what you're talking about, but if you're upset about someone having a different opinion than yours, then that's on your end.

I usually buy every console but I can wait later for a Series X. Still getting a PS5 at launch.

I am planning to build a PC next year waiting for Black Friday no rush, and sticking with PS5 Mainly because of god of war, horizon and few other big exclusive from Sony. If I don’t build it next year most likely going for Series X. Having a PC, PS5 and switch is best combo just don’t get people who want PC and XSX you get all XSX games on gamepass

are you consciously gonna swap one set of exclusives for another sey hah,reading cows saying they may never get to play Fallout, doom or the elder scrolls again like buying a series s is out of the question is priceless

PC to Xbox

Everything is 4k nowadays and I don't have the enthusiasm to upgrade my mediocre PC, and I'd rather just plunder Gamepass while the getting is good.

Also the xbox environment is the best one for online "bro gaming" which is nice during covid to socialize.

I dunno, it's just a different flavor which I like right now, I'm not dissing the other platforms.

Maybe I'll switch again in 4 or 5 years.

PC has served me well the last 30 years, I think I will stick with it.

I switch every gen... Then I fill in pieces if they are compelling enough.

I went ps4 this gen after 360 in gen 7 as my primary. Now I prefer switch to everything else, but the library lacks at times. Still, day 1 on the next switch. Nintendo made incredible improvements to their brand this gen.

Pretty sure I'm sticking with Playstation, though Xbox does seem to be at least trying this gen. It is an interesting series of choices.

Series S for $299 seems like a scam, since it's a gimped "next gen" console, but it could be a good 2nd console to a PS5 owner if content to play at 1080p.

PlayStation 5 digital for $399 might be the best value for some since it's not gimped, but I just can't do without any disc drive at all.

Playstation 5 Vanilla for $499 is pretty good entry price.

Series X for $499 is probably the better hardware value.

Yeah I'm switching from XB1 to PS5. I was not a happy camper under Xbox One, the games weren't there, services weren't there, the prices are getting higher for xbl gold, I can't play free to play games online.

I have been a Playstation fan since day one. I have zero interest in Xbox games. Not a single Xbox game has ever attracted me.

I might get a Series X when preorders are available again.......Still care for gears and Halo, can't be f'ed upgrading my PC.

I'll be sticking with Switch (and it's successor - whatever that is) and Xbox.

I love Nintendo and as long as they keep releasing the best games in the market (at least for me of course), even if those are far and between, i think i'll be sticking with them.

Now, with that being said ... my secondary has always been Sony, but now ... i don't know, is getting harder to support them, maybe i'll be going full PC or maybe an X Series, Gamepass seems to be such a great deal to not consider it.

Don't have an allegiance to a specific system. I go to which ever system has the games I want to play. Since the Playstation system usually get the games I want to play and also has more support with JP games, I will get the PS5 first. Eventually I will get the X series X, but that will be when the price drops. Don't need 2 next gen consoles at launch.

XSX on launch day to same lots of money through gamepass so yeah swapping across. Will get PS5 at the end of the gen to play the exclusives which haven't come to PC. PC getting a bit long in the tooth but still good for a few PC only games that I want to play.
