I like the explosions and background better on the 360 version. I like how the PS3 version is lighter, because I can't see anything at some parts in the 360 version. Sorry, but Armored Core is absolutely atrocious.TrueReligion_I agree, but it can't be worse than Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire. I think it has great appeal to mech fans. I told my friend about it. He played previous Armored Cores and has the PSP version. He really wants to play this game, but he doesn't have a 360 or PS3 yet since he's a somewhat casual gamer.

Sad thing is it sells like crazy in japan no matter how bad the game might be.
wow. maybe the low ps3 sales numbers drove down the production time for the PS3, becasue that looks aweful compared to the 360 version.
Well cows, lets hear the excuses, I gave you a good one. I guarentee we will never hear that a more expencive machine performs sub-par to the 360.

I watched the video carefully but aside from the difference in brightness I don't really see much of a difference. There were a few hiccups in the frame rate from the PS3 version during big explosions but to be fair, the 360 screen didn't seem to show any close-up explosions of equal intensity.Corvinwhen you are looking pause it and lookin the details(when its split screen) theres a huge difference, especially when they are decending into that tunnel. the lighting on the ps3 just looks, well, bad. and the 360 definantly has nicer textures and more detail.

I'm really not seeing it. Other than lighting differences, which are pretty significant, I can't really see any super fine detail that make one or the other stand out. The lighting was perhaps a bit more natural in parts on the 360 version, such as that deep tunnel, which was still very bright on the PS3 despite no light sources. The only major differences I noticed was that the 360 lighting seemed to have more of a brown/green tint while the PS3 had a gray tint.
