As a xbox fan, the only way id get a ps4 is...

wow sony fans are a strange breed. senile too. did we forget that $ony charged 600 usa dollars+ tax last gen already? or how sony let noobs take the credit card info from many users? they didnt even offer free credit monitoring... so to buy a sony product? hell to the no.

PS4 won, just like PS3 won. It has free online, no pre-owned game fee and better specs. I'll also speculate that PS4 will have many more and much better AAA exclusives than the Xbox-One. This is evident in the fact MS is buying up all the timed exclusive DLC from EA because MS know they have nothing else exclusive to offer.

The way things look right now I have no idea how a person could possibly want an XB1 over a PS4.  

I know that could drastically change.  We don't know the full extent of either companies policies going forward.  We don't know about pricing yet.  And most importantly, we have no idea how the libraries will shape up.

But if I had to choose right now, I would take the PS4 without hesitation.

They showed less games.  2 were exclusives, and it's not a game reveal.  Plus they all were gameplay footage.  Not CG like some of Sony's games.  And most games at Sonys reveal are gonna be on X1 too :?

They were less specific with the specs.   Specific enough.  I don't care how many terraflops are on the nanochips doohicky thingamajigger.

They told us there is going to be at least a once a day required internet connection.   After reveal.

They told us games will be locked to XBL accounts. After reveal.

The ONLY thing I can think of is they showed the physical console.

I had a 360. I was unhappy with M$'s online subscription model and refusal to make worthwhile exclusive games. I had already decided I liekly wasn;t going to get a next box, but after seeing the anti consumer practices coming with the X1 I'm definately not.

first of all, i have both an xbox 360 and ps3.. its not surprising that i prefer my xbox 360 more though. I love the games better, forza 3> GT5 (i have both) gears > killzone, and ext ext.

 

HOWEVER, i had great hopes for the xbox one, but its weaker than the ps4 ( can someone tell me how much weaker?) i DONT care for kinect, and it seems like MS is focusing too much on stuff other than CORE GAMING.

 

Well the only way id get a PS4 rather than an Xbox one is... if MS charged for playing online, and Sony didnt. I just dont want my achievement points to go to waste, and i LOVE xbox excllusives. So yeah, thats my main condition.. if they BOTH charge for online, ill most likely get an XBOX One :)

Yes, I hated PS3 and I love my 360 to death but after the Xbox dONE reveal...Sony wins...flawless victory.

Why do I have way more PS3 games than Eggsbox games?

Sony's stance on PSN has been an "always free" one. 

Doesn't mean it's gonna to stay that way.  PS+ is evidence enough of that.

I truly feel sorry for the lemmings defending the X1 in this thread. There comes a time where you have to admit you've been defeated.

I've owned a PS1, PS2, XBOX, and 360. For this current gen the 360 is definitely the winner, but after seeing the xbox one... man, they pretty much shot themselves in the foot. Felt like one huge promotion fest for stuff that aren't even related to games.

As a Playstation fan, there is no way I'm getting an Xbox One.

BTW anecdotal: I never finished halo 3, or Gears because they are both mediocre to me.  That only left Forza which was a great game but still even tho  there are also high praised games on PS3 that I find mediocre there is alot more to choose from that meet or exceed the enjoyment I got from the 1 quality exclusvie I found on xbox360

Some of the last Sony exclusives were so bad I got bored and didn't even finish them.

i'll have to agree with this. uncharted 2 was such a mediocre borefest it made me skip the 3rd one all together. :(
