You don't win anything. The fact that after almost 10 years this game is still so popular, and talked about all over the place, should tell you something about its quality. At this point i wouldn't be surprised if more people wanted a sequel or a remake of the original than Half Life 3.

It would have been the best game ever made, if only the Frenzy ailment didn’t exist. I gave up in the Nightmare of Mensis area since Frenzy kept destroying my HP bar.

Terrific game held back by 30FPS and abysmal load times. They should port it to PC so it can be played properly.

Back when it came out, Souls was still very niche, and Sony didn't market the game very well at all. Never knew Sony shut down Fromsoft🤭

@fedor: definitely needs a PC port, or at least a next gen upgrade patch on PS5. I'd even take a re-release on PS5 over this "do nothing" approach.

The fact that this hasn't happened yet demonstrates complacency and incompetence on both Sony and From Software's part.

To bad Sony hates it. Would love to see a proper PS5 version. In the meantime I’m playing Lies of P which really does the Bloodborne vibe quite well. Fantastic atmosphere and really solid gameplay.

In extremely rare occasions, you gotta do what needs to be done and accept SUB 30fps gaming. If this game ran on the Demon's remake engine and was capped at 60fps, it wouldn't be just the best game ever, but the bast game in the universe, which makes it very unfair for all its competition.

I felt like it was ignorant for them to not release a ps pro update for this game. I enjoyed it a lot. A PS5 remaster would of been great as well.

Probably related to their garbage engine/code. There is no shot that after all this time they still haven't released anything for this game, even tho, even if you're barely following gaming, you will hear a load of people talk about the imaginary remake, especially every time there's a sony event, game awards and the summer games fest.

That game is a blast with friends BTW. Kind of reminds me of spies vs mercs from splinter cell chaos theory days. Love playing as The family, the cook is amazing and I like the mechanic of having to feed grandpa blood to use his Sonar to find em lol

I hope the next elden ring is set with bloodborne world. Using its lore atmosphere and combat.

I do think on the same list Bloodborne got 4th place behind only TLOU, BOTW and whatever else got third.

Its very high up there on any GOAT list just not #1.

The fan base is there and for them to keep stalling Soo long by not having a patch for the PS4 pro or even one for ps5 can cost them. Bloodborne's combat system, bosses, enemy variety, boss variety, atmosphere are all absolutely best-in-class, and worthy of a very, very high position on a "GOAT" list.

@Mozelleple112: You’re making figures up that simply aren’t backed up by the facts. Spider-Man 1 sold 13m copies from a user base of 120m. Halo sold 6.5 from 24m which is a way higher attachment rate. Still, more people will argue that Sp1 was a better game because it had a bigger player count.

Both were extremely high rated big sellers that were widely regarded as “system sellers”. Bloodborne was neither.

Again, I have no problem with people thinking it was the greatest game of all time. You’ll find more people claiming the same about their own favourite games.

It was pretty good. Some of the boss fights were great, the theme was fun, and I enjoyed the twist in the middle.

Beyond that, it was just a Souls game with better combt but less variety, less content, and some really rough/rushed areas that weren't particularly fun.

Not going to lie, I bought the game when it released because the PS4 had a game drought at the time. I think I played maybe 2 hours of the game and have yet to pop it back into the ol PS4

Spiderman + Miles Morales have sold 33 million units between them.

20 million (be it Miles or Spiderman 1 that holds that number) is more than 3x what Halo CE sold. If Halo was so great it should have sold more systems. Attachment rate is not a good metric.

its absurd thinking Spiderman games bare better than the original Halo. even though 20 million >>> 6.5 million , I bet more people have Halo CE as their favourite game than SpiderMan as their favourite game.

Bloodborne has sold 2.5 million, but I'd wager my house more people have it as their favourite game than games that have sold 5, 10, 20, 50 million copies.
