lol the horizontaly analog stick on the ps3 make it utter crap even with rumble. and the gimick motion sensitivity make it even more utter crap.
edit: NOt to mention the L2 and R2 buttons, those are thee most horible button on and controller period. And if you don't agree some thing is serioulsly worng with u. try playing god of war with that thing.

LMAO. Horizontally parallel analog sticks is the optimal placement. It simply doesn't make sense to put one stick in the upper left corner and the other in the lower right. That's just plain awkward.

Then how come some of the better games use the analog more than teh D-pad?
[QUOTE="amorbis1001"]lol the horizontaly analog stick on the ps3 make it utter crap even with rumble. and the gimick motion sensitivity make it even more utter crap.nyoroismIt's like you've never touched a Playstation controller.
I own a ps3 FYI.
The PS3's controller obviously. There are several games that use the 360 and Wii's controller well but there might be only one game that uses the PS3's controller well and that is Warhawk.
You get tilt and a light-as-a-feather controller. It's the worst of both worlds really.

Its obvious it is between the 360 dual analog and the PS3 sixaxis controllers.
Well Dual analog is really getting old and some game you can see the effects.
PS3 sixaxis is a glorified dual analog without the rumble pack. The tilt sensor is basically usless even factor five couldnt do anything with it.
So probably Sixaxis because it is like a weak dual analog.
The PS3's controller obviously. There are several games that use the 360 and Wii's controller well but there might be only one game that uses the PS3's controller well and that is Warhawk.

lolwarhawk control scheme is ludacrous. try everytime I am in a warhawk, the 2 flying styles make me wannna die, the only game that uses the sixaxis great is LAIR. ;)
It is true, horizontal analogs don't work very well.
Diagonal analogs have a better sense of balance. One for moving and one for camera.
They are identical in the Playstation controller, which is why it makes the controller so hard to use and unintuitive.
Willy105
The fact of the matter is, dualshock hasn't changed much since the days of PS1Dual Analogue. Look how much the Nintendo controller has changed since NES.

Seriously... you lemmings have to be making that jamming fingers stuff up. I have relatively big hands... i haven't encountered this problem. I really think lemmings don't know how to put their fingers on analog sticks or something.

omg I have big hands and this problem occurs often, my finger also slips as I have sweaty palms and those analog sticks doesn't have grip. I am a big fan of the original xbox phat controller that which shows my hands are large.

They need to change their controller scheme? It has worked very well for the past 12 years. I see no reason to modify it. I am happy with it. It's the best controller ever.

lost what where, about the phat. I guesschildren with small hands would prefer that crappy sixaxis and dual shock as for me I prefers a real mans contorller.

How is that? They can't be that bad if everybody else keeps putting stuff from the controller into their controller.
the wii audio doesn't count have you heard it ever it's so crappy anyways the 360 controller will be outdated because its fatmistervengeance
You are not supposed to hear fully orchestrated melodies from the speaker, you just need to hear sound effects.
And the Xbox 360 controller outdated because it's fat? That's the weiredest thing I have ever read.

True. It doesnt make sense. But, it still works...which amazes me a little.
Not the 360 obviously, so it's between the other 2.
SgtWhiskeyjack
No its obviously between the PS3 and the 360, the Wiimtoe is making huge sucess with FPS infact it is slowly taking over that genre for consoles. MP3 is already proclaimed the best console controled FPS and they are already saying that MoH2 is gonna beat MP3 at control.
Sorry the dual analog is so overdue for change its not even funny.
Like is aid before at least 360 has rumble. PS3 just has a terrible tilt sensor that does not work and no rumble so PS3 has the worst.
Here is from best to worst:
Wiimote>360 Dual Analog>Sixaxis

That may be so if you only play FPS's, but I still think the 360's controller is overall better for them. The aiming maybe slightly/ a lot better, but I find aiming with the 360 controller to be perfect, I never have a problem. I get true headshots over a hell of a distance, picking someones head off that's barely visible on a HDTV. If you think pointing a remote to move the cursor around is better and more accurate then more fool you.
Also the feedback on the 360 controller is way better than the wii-mote and I'd rather have a wireless headset than that silly little speaker.
I would be a little worried for the Dual Shock 3. Wireless, tilt, and rumble, together eats batteries; and you cant swap batteries like you can with the WiiMote.gromit007
it has a standard charge cable that doesn't get in the way, is not difficult at all to use, and is extremely simple in design. just plug it in and you're good.

The aiming is so much better. The only issue it turning right now and that is being fixed by Mp3 and MoH2. Sorry but dual analog is becoming obsolete. The aiming is way better. You have never had a problem but that does not mean that there is something out there ten times better. A regular car has no problems but a really nice car is way better, which one does a smart person want?
Headshots are way easier on the Wii and its getting better. Im not a fool for stating a afact your a fool for being an ignorant fanboy.
The feed back is about the same because the Wiimote is smaller. A wireless headset is completely different froma speaker. What the hell you dont even know what your talking about. In fact the Wiimtoe has better feedback because it has rumble and speaker.
So your just wrong all across the board.
