The 360 version looks much richer and smoother.
The PS3 version is washed out and has a choppier framerate.
IGN's review was spot-on so far as the differences in framerates.

[QUOTE="WuTangG"][QUOTE="mazdero"][QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"]The PS3 version has dull textures and a washed out look. Xbox 360 wins this one when it comes to visuals. If you can't see the better clarity on the 360 version in this video, then I may recommend you some glasses.mazdero
Put them both on a TV in front of your face and then tell me there is a difference. Online pics and vids ftl.
Crappy Damage Control FTL!Silly fanboy FTL!
I own both systems. Silly you lol.
Owning two systems doesnt make you a fanboy!Oh man, the Gametrailers comparisons are always great because they are in HD. Wow there is a difference in graphics. PS3 version looks flat and muddy + I don't see who it has better framerate when it was having fps issues during that comparison while the 360 version wasn't.Ilived
Err no it doesnt it looks exactly the same Unfortiantly the reatards at GT dont know how to turn on the true RGB feature if you have a HDMI cable on the PS3 hence the reason you get all the washed out colors. CVG hi dev videos show the PS3 version looks better.

Owning two systems doesnt make you a fanboy!I own the PS3 version and have seen the 360 version and if anythign the PS3 version looks slightly better. As I said the noobs doing this comparison did not turn on the HDMI features they dont turn on by deafult you have to change the settings but you think Proffesional gaming websights could figure that out.
I think gamespot in their review said the 360 version has more contrast or sharpness or better shaders. I dont' know which it was.Ilived
They didnt say either

if they connected the PS3 trhough HDMI, they wouldn't see anything if it wasn't on... i THINK they kinda know that..

You have no clue what your talkign about. Ithas nothing to do with connecting the HDMI. Its adusting the display settings on your PS3 that allow you to fully utilize the HDMI cable.
I seriously want to know what kind of cables/settings they're using to capture the PS3 video... I get the distinct impression that someone needs to set RGB full range and super white to on. Seriously, it's not any harder than switching between standard/intermediate/extended color on 360.stray720
Nice to see someone on SW that isnt a complete reatard.

Im not sure what you mean here but I could care less I own both platforms fanboys are poor kids that hate on one thing because they cant have it.
http://kotaku.com/gaming/console-wars/ps3-vs-xbox-360-assassins-creed-round-322633.php Here is a link to a websight who did a side by side comparison watch there videos they actually know how to adust the RGB features. And yes they say the PS3 version looks better and you know what? It does slightly.

don't you think THeY know that?.. and how does that affect the sharpness...it looks blurry.
and super white can be devastating for the image.
Do these minor differences actually matter to anyone? (excluding fanboys obviously)user_natWell if you got a PS3 and 360, you might care a bit to see which one has that slight edge.
Hate to say this but the textures in the PS3 version aren't nearly as crisp, also the framerate is lower.
I mean it is pretty much a wash, the game looks great on both versions. There won't be a noticable difference if you go from you friends house with a 360 to your friends house with a PS3. If you put them right together you will notice small differences.
Though I am going to go 360 > PS3 version, just by a small margin. You can defeantly tell that the developer put more emphasis on the 360 version, or spent more time with it.

You would think so but by looking at the pictures its obvious they dont. I have the game im telling you right now it looks nothign like that. For me to get the game to look like it does on the GT trailer I had to turn off the RGB feature and the superwhite feature and reduce my color on my screen.
As for super white killing a image that shouldnt be a problem if you have a 1080p tv which I do. I have a 40inch 1080p Samsung that cost me 2grand. Its got a nice picture but there are many other HD-TV's that can handle it with no problem.

I have played both versions on the same setup as I said the PS3 version looks slighlty better look at my link a few post back where they did a side by side comparison wher the PS3 version looks better. If you are going by the GT video then yes it does look better ont he 360 but as i said the settings are compltely horrible. If you havent played the game do yourself a favor and do so and then make a judgement.
Yup, but from this video, 360 framerate looks better. Here you go
Gametrailers HD Comparison
I see a difference, but nothing major, just colors look a bit washed out on the PS3 version, but from what I hear better framerates are on the PS3 version as well, so ehh it evens out I guess.

okay, you know what.. it could be that those settings where not on. i believe you when you say it looks better in real life. I actually think you could be right here.
I still think the 360 version looks much sharper.
I'm most curious about the framerate though.

There are few differences between the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions. PS3 owners are blessed with a slightly more solid frame rate, although the 360 version features a little more contrast in the lighting, so it's pretty much a wash.Gamespot

Gamertag "TheSterls" want to play some gears? Maybe some Halo 3? Go watch the CVG video your owned noob dont even try to challenge me when yes i do own a 360 and you have never touched a ps3 controller in yourlife.
Was that the ending? Someone tell me.
And the 360 version is clearly better, the PS3 version is clearly more washed out, and theres alot more noticble pop in stuff.

How many times do I have to post thisthe GT trailer is bunk the only color defiicancy is in there setup not the PS3 . CVG did a side by side comparison the only websight to admit doing so and the PS3 verison looks better.

Hmm, that article said that the 360 had better framerate.
P.S was the gametrailer comparison the ending of Assassins Creed.
Check out the last scene where they stabb him, there is fog in the background. Its harder to tell on the PS3 version because it all looks washed out, but on the 360 version its very visible.
Also all the awful pop-ups on the PS3 version is really annoying, minor differences? Sure only if its the only choice you have, but IMO 360 has PS3 beat hands down.

Owned me? Dude you just said I didnt own a 360 and yet now you know I do yet you just admit you dont own a PS3 and even called ita POS. Whos a fanboy now? Your pathetic and your debating skills are on par with a poor 12 year old. And you want to call the PS3 a pos yet the 360 has nearly a 80% failure rate and the Wii looks like aGamecube. The fact is I own both consoles I can do a fair comparison and it pisses me off when some kid like you goes by a crappy video and I can go show a video that shows the exact opposite and you still deny it. So what do I do to make a fair comparison? I go play them on the two consoels and find out myself. The fact is the PS3 verison does look better its a fact and no I dont hate the 360 i simply state the way it is. If some cow came in here and said the PS3 verison of "The Darkness" looked better I would argue with him just as much. If some cow came in here and said The PS version of F.E.A.R looked better I would also call him a fanboy as it looks better on the 360.
The fact is im a gamer not a fanboy and I give credit where credit is due. You are someoen that simply hates the PS3 for no reason and has never played one so you are incapable of making a reasonabler argument.
Why are you still fighting over this? Ubisoft has already confirmed that the x360 has the superior version.Pripyat
Yea that never happned but you have always make stuff up so its nothing new.
Ive played my friends PS3 version compared to my 360 and there is a slight difference. Yes the colors are alittle more washed out which I noticed right of way because i played the PS3 version at my friends house. Then when I got back to my dorm I played and the colors looked a lot better. PS3 version does have FPS issues. It slows down sometimes which the 360 version so far hasnt. Load times are a lot faster on the 360 version as well. What I'm saying isnt biased because I practically played them side by side.
360 version hands down. Its not just brightness thee but the whole color adjustments, 360 seem to have better textures and more clarity.
Ps3 loses... yet again
The PS3 version has dull textures and a washed out look. Xbox 360 wins this one when it comes to visuals. If you can't see the better clarity on the 360 version in this video, then I may recommend you some glasses.BioShockOwnzBrightness in game... turn it dowm, it looks the same once you do this...
