World Premiere! How can it be a world premiere when the game is already released in 2017 and got an expansion a year later?

third expansion. in 2017 people said AC series has changed. yeah changed but for even worse than it was before and then get one rehash expansion year later and now another.

Yaaaaaay... All these cool locations/time periods, and just shit games that make you wanna claw your eyes out.

I'll stick with Origins. Still need to finish it.

I bet the games are great, but I've never gotten into them even though I'm a history buff.

Pre Assasssin creed ubisoft - Splinter cell, Splinter cell Chaos Theory, Rainbow six Raven shield, Ghost recon Advanced warfighter (PC one, not shitty third perosn console one), Ghost recon 1, Prince of persia sands of time, Far Cry 2. most of ubi games were masterpieces.

Post Assassins creed - 20 Assassins creeds rehashes, Far cry rehashed (basically FPS assassins creed), Ghost recon open world that is as tactical as throw brick at window, Splinter cell conviction and blacklist become worst in series (although theres no AC influnce here).

Metacritic the official SW site of choice to determine if a game is good or not have origins and odyssey scoring from 81-87.

Enjoying odyssey a bit, and kind of intrigued of a Viking setting. But they have to deviate a bit from the origin/odyssey for me to start another one!

so many cool settings, so much wasted potential.

What will we do in this game? Some Viking things? Invade England?

I don't know what series is more boring Metro or Asscreed.

I actually enjoyed Origins & Odyssey, so i'll check this out.

obviously AC. but better question would be what is more boring. AC or FC. because both are exact same series, play same. only difference is, one is FPS, other is third person action, one set in jungle, other is ancient with sword.

Love assassins creed, ESPECIALLY the RPG bits they totally make it a classic series.

Also: Doom sucks.

If they could edit down from Origins and Odyssey they could make it a good game.

@svaubel: Origins is the only good AC game since Black Flag. The other AC games since then have been dull, forgettable rehashes. First they rehashed the AC2 formula endlessly, and now they're going to rinse the Origins formula.

Agreed. Beautiful worlds, decent mechanics, but not enough for 60 to 80 hour games.

I'm going to watch this tomorrow. Got nothing much to do anyways so why not.

If it's good I might buy this game. I like games where you can just freely explore, take all the time you want and complete every side quests.

I'll check out the trailer but I'm expecting more of the same except this time with a Viking coat of paint.

Could be be quite interesting with vikings and all but unfortunately I just haven’t kept up with the Assassin’s Creed games for awhile and not sure if I’ll get around to this one either. Not that I think the games are bad or anything, in fact I find them pretty enjoyable, it’s just that I have too much on my plate these days so some games just end up lost by the wayside.

Halal Assassin's Creed sounds way more lit than what they ever made with that boring ass franchise.

Enjoyed Odyssey but not really a fan of Vikings. Give me Feudal Japan and it would be a day one.

Went to Norway last year. Love that place. Would love to play as vikings and sail a longship.

Meh, not excited, but probably play it eventually. Setting seems decent but series still hasn't found solid footing after Black Flag. Combat mechanics improved kind of with Origins but too RPG for its own good. Games are still padded time drains with shallow cookie cutter content.

Such a sad state Ubisoft is in.

This is easily one of my favorite settings. You take this Ass Creed and compare to God of War and Elden Ring, all three being in the same setting, and you will quickly notice how generic and uninspired everything is in Ass Creed. Two of the three games mentioned aren't even out, and i'd be ready to bet money that i'm not wrong on my assumption.

Ubi does not know how to make video games. In my opinion, they're worse than Bethesda, and im not even trolling.

Metro has good things going for it. Things such as quality atmosphere, enemies design, weapon design and gunplay itself. Fuckall happens in ass creed. The most generic franchise around. And because every Ubi game is so similar to it, it feels like ubi has been releasing 1-4 ass creed games per year for over 10 years.

Big Assassins Creed fan here, gonna look forward to it!

The newest Assassin's Creed games from Origins & Odyssey both are awesome AC games, I do love anything with Norse/Vikings mytho stuff, so this is indeed day one purchase on PC!

Since it's Vikings, I'm gonna take a guess and say there will be ship combat with Longships and the like. If so, I hope they try and make ship combat a little funner the Odyssey's. Personally, something about the ship combat in that game just kinda rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe I don't know my Viking history very well but I don't believe they a lot of tall structures to climb on. Only thing that comes to my mind would be trees since Vikings did find North American however.

It is. But that was back before they milked the franchise to death and it was actually fresh and exciting

AC2 was also bad game when it was released but i can argue that its better than todays RPG assassins creed.
