because their is a twist to the game. I don't know what it is and ignore all the media but my guess is some sort of time travel (probably wrong). I think Ubisoft is trying to hide the details because they are revealed right away. I for one would rather wait for the surprise.

It is, almost certainly, to keep the 'glitch' stuff under wraps.
Just about every single ad, video and screenshot of the game avoids showing anything related to the sci-fi stuff in the game - possibly to avoid competition with Halo 3 and The Orange Box?
