The PS3 has a few things that the PC can't do, and the PC has a few things that the PS3 can't do.  For one thing, you can develop programs on the PS3 if you use linux.  Also, the PS3 can use the blu-ray format while the PC currently can't.  The PC can obviously do more work-oriented things, though.

I'll admit that a capable gaming PC that can do Crysis justice will make the PS3 look like a bargain. (I'm about to invest 1000-2000 US$ into one myself.) However, remember that the PC is a more versatile platform, with uses beyond games and multimedia. You can even develop your own apps and games for one relatively easily. It can also be far more powerful than a PS3 ever will. The way I see it, you get what you pay for.NamelessPlayer

Yeah, E4300s are are $120(Pentium D's are even less), 2Gigs RAM is $75, X1950Pro $175 = $370, ATX Mobo&Case for under $150 and you've probably maxed out Crysis in DX9. "bu bu teh PS3 at $600 greater than PC @ $600" riiiiiight.

ok, about this whole price argument. listen to this. I need a computer in the first place, now instead of wasting that $600 on a ps3, why not I just use that money and upgrade my computer into somthing that can max everything. People are such fanboys

PC's can do MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCH more than the PS3 can do. Why do PC's need Blu-Ray when they have a much larger storage capacity called a "HARD DRIVE"? I guess you've never heard of it though........

I was just making a defense statement about that and showing how consoles are not all that superior in price, and most peope have a pc so why not just spend that money upgrading the pc. (I admit it was fanboyish of me the way I did it)

Console fanboys don't understand that logic. They also don't understand that, it order to play games at even close to the quality of PC games, you're gonna need that shiny new, expensive HDTV (unless you use your monitor, but there goes "TEH COUCH" arguement"). They also don't get that PC games are cheaper and become cheaper quicker. They also don't understand that PC games usually have much more value and last longer, making me buy less games each year than I would with a console. They also never include accessories or microtransactions in the prices, but include monitors, KB/M, speakers, etc etc in the price for a PC.

 Haze looks NO better than GRAW 2, I don't know where all this hype has come from suddenly, I guess cows have nothing better. Not to mention the game is MULTI-PLATFORM, so cows shouldn't brag about this. Heck we're getting Half-Life 2 Episode 2 which is probably way better than Haze and lemmings aren't bragging, not only that but the PS3 version of HL2:E2 isn't even being worked on by Valve.

 As for the PC, well to make a post on the internet, it probably means you have a PC, with $600 you can buy a video card that'll destroy PS3 graphics.

Haze is nothing spectacular imo, the graphics are just on par with any other PS3 or 360 game.
