Well I'm sure the campaign may be decent (maybe even though MW2 was just mediocre aside from a few levels) but if I had to choose between death and buying this game I'd buy it. I don't hate it but I don't want to support annual releases with minimal improvements.

You don't get it do you. I won't support a publishing house or developer that is trying to increase the price of games on my platform of choice. Activision are just being completely greedy and you are supporting them in doing it.

If the game is completely new, does something radical with the multiplayer, puts an emphasis back on community and team play AND does away with kill streaks/perks then i'll buy it when it's half price.

Until then I have so many games to play of such high quality that cost a fraction of the price i'll sterr clear. Does that explain it enough for you?

Actually I wouldn't I didn't purchase World at War, I didn't purchase Modern Warfare 2, I didn't purchase Black Ops, and I won't be purchasing Modern Warfare 3.

Eventhough I'm not saying it is trash I know it appeals to some people it just doesn't appeal to me.

I only bought one Call of Duty game in my life and that was the first one. Played all the others. They're fun for a short while, but certainly not worth paying full price for.

Bingo. Few people can actually express themselves in this way, to show the exact reality, but this is exactly what's in the BF fanboys' heads, and wehats going to happen in Nov.

Even the REAL haters will get curious when it scores: AAA, when they look at their friends list, and everybody is: playing Modern Warfare 3, and when it sells 15 million in 3 weeks as opposed to 1 million for BF3.

They will get curious and wonder if they really made the right choice. And this about the REAL haters. The fake haters are all on SW and the trolls on Youtube.

Last year I bought black ops on release day, what a mistake I made - returned it soon after. I won't be making the same mistake again - I Guarentee it (My money deserves MUCH better) :

No, they won't buy it because they don't give a crap about it, the only call of duty game I ever actually liked was CoD2 Big Red One, that one was good, and I'm sure CoD3 is good, too, but I absolutely hate CoD4, graphics, blood, language, that's all it is. I have standards and something where you shoot a guy's arm off for blood to splatter into a helicopter window is a no-go for me, and to add to it, in CoD Black Ops, when you get a headshot, the enemy's BRAIN falls out, and there's blood and guts all over the battlefield as you run around shooting, and that adds to the violence.

I will NEVER buy the next CoD, and wanna re-inforce that? I don't even have one of the "twin systems," I have a wii, so I probably won't get it anyway. I'd rather play something worthwhile instead of blowing lead into whatever moves and watching its brain fly out.

I'm not a COD hater, but I won't be buying it. I really liked cod4 (not loved). But world at war was meh, and Modern warfare 2 bored me.

How to make a Call of duty game in 10 easy steps:

Step 1: Use an outdated game engine from 2005

Step 2: Insert crappy storyline about Russians and nuclear weapons

Step 3: Design a character that 12 year olds will perceive as "cool" and refer to him only by his mysterious call sign.

Step 4: Kill said character in a scripted event 2/3 way through the campaign.

Step 5: Kill key bad guy in another scripted event involving slow motion

Step 6: Add a halfbaked multiplayer mode. Make sure that there are plenty of glitches and imbalances and good places to camp.

Step 7: Profit.

Step 8: Release overpriced map pack.

Step 9: Profit some more.

Step 10: Repeat steps 1-10 until series has been sufficiently milked dry.
