its a fact.. Dice, Infinity Ward, Square and Capcom are top rate 3rd party devs that can develop for the PS3 no problem and have the PS3 versions look and run just as better and in some cases than the 360 version. On top of that all the 1st/2nd party devs that develop games for the PS3 that is unmatched on other consoles in terms of visuals and overall presentation and even gameplay. If this was 2007 i would completly understand devs having a hard time to develop for the PS3. But if after 4 years and you still arent good enough to develop for the PS3 then frankly the game doesnt deserve to be made by such devs for the PS3. the best 3rd party devs in the business like Dice, Infinity ward, Square, Bioware and Capcom can all develop for the PS3 with no problems whatsoever. No excuse why some devs should be scared and/or lazy to develop for the PS3.SocomChris50

I dont understand the same genre argument being that they stick to what they are good at. An NBA player may be a horrible cricketer but that doesnt matter, because hes amazing when hes on the court. Hes amazing when he does what he is good at. You wouldnt call him talentless because he doesnt play cricket would you?

Also the graphics argument is pointless. We are in a unique medium where we play games. Do notice the word "play". As such this is the most important aspect of a game. Graphics are important make no mistake. But personally I think God of War 1 is better then say DMC 4 because the actual gameplay experience is much better (even if DMC4's graphics are obviously superior)

except L4D series is possibly the most fun I've ever had in a multiplayer game. Half Life = meh though... I'll give you that. So yeah Valve is over-rated, but they are still quite good.

Actually, now that I think about it, they aren't over-rated... Just because I don't like TF2 or HL, doesnt mean that I can't see the quality in the games. They just arent games that particularly am fond of.

Yeah Valve works exclusively asa FPS dev... but all 3 current IP's they have going are very different.

HL - slower paced, story driven shooter

L4D - crazy action packed survivor, team based co-op shooter (vs mode as zombies = AWESOMENESS)

TF2 - fast paced, twitch shooter, team based vs others.

all shooters... all very different and unique.

Why are cows so upset over an "untalented, overrated and lazy" developer? :lol:

And all developers that port a game to 360 and it doesn't look as good or better are lazy *taking a page from cows here* even digital foundry suspects that given harder work and more time with the 360 version of ff13 it could have easily been done better then it was with a higher resolution and such.
