awsome game.

Never heard of it. >_>Storm_Marine
Me either, but it sounds awesome. I wish the industry would do more to give recognition to unique titles like this.

ps3 games are so lame barely anyone knows about them
Do you just go into every thread just to bash PS3?
Oh by the way this is for PC.

I'm afraid this conversation has hit a dead end.
I love the game, downloaded it last week, and believe me, I have tried lots of games these days, but Audiosurf is the only one that keeps me coming back for more, unlike most of the recent mainstream titles. I hope xfire supports this game in the next update, I wanna see how many hours I'm playing :P.vash47
Its a steamworks game, so Steam might have the info.

Try BYOB, that song is full of win.

try playing a fast and intense song...and than look at how "calm" it is.
:lol:I honestly didn't expect this much response :o.
This is, though, you have to accept, more a game for a music lover than a game lover.

Well, yeah, that's more intense. It's "Through the Fire and Flames". It doesn't get much crazier than that. Still, I like "Cautionary Warning" more, so that's what I posted. I just played that on GH3. Man it's hard.We need more games like this (and Beats on PSP). I wish Activision would have custom soundtracks in Guitar Hero.. although they would probably lose out on their precious DLC revenue and future sales..
-Spock-
More games with custom soundtracks = yes
Guitar hero/rock band with custom soundtracks = no
Honestly the placing of the notes in guitar hero is what makes the game, I honestly wouldn't think that this is an easy thing to replicate with software or a community driven effort.

"You are my instigator, you are my agrivator, you are my space invader..."Play Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out" and you'll be overwhelmed. I guarentee it.Looks like the PC has the most interesting games so far in 2008. Between Audiosurf, Sins of a Solar Empire, and Savage 2, it's been good times lately.
Sadly, this week Fontlines looks like it's not going to hold up in reviews this week or be an interesting game for that matter.
BTW, everyone can play Audiosurf, and if you like YOUR own music, which you obviously do, I highly recommend it. It runs on just about all PC's.
Here's the link to STEAM for all those interested:

Here's a good quality movie of the portal song in action:

[QUOTE="Mythbuster4ever"]Great game, and costs as much as the orange box soundtrack. cobrax25
and if you pre-ordered, it even includes the orange box soundtrack (or at least the portal song)
It comes with it no matter what, and for some reason it gave me 93 half life songs.
My mind cannot comprehend the level of win in that video. Here's a good quality movie of the portal song in action:

I think it comes with all versions, because I didn't pre order and I have the soundtrack.
