Exclusivity matters because:

A. You can't play it if you don't own said system.

B. Exclusive gamers, therefore, are a driving force in console choice.

C. Multiplats are ported to multiple systems. That's what multiplat means. You don't have to have that system to play that game.

D. Exclusive games directly raise the quality of they system they are exclusive too, and ONLY that system. Increasing the quality of the library of its chosen system, and no others.

E. Multiplat games can be played on multiple systems, therefore, the userbase for said game can choose from a range of systems to play said game on. However, exclusive games concentrate demand for that game onto one system, therefore sales of that system benefit more, than if the game wasn't multiplat.

Basically, multiplat games increase the quality, library, userbase, and sales of a system as a whole, which in turn increased third party support, and future itterations of that very exclusive, as well as others.

I don't want to "prove" how wrong you are about anything. In actuality, you are right about the fact that the PS3 has one more AA-AAA title than the Wii does. However, what if I just wanted to go by AAA titles, or AAAe titles. You have to understand that "having the weakest library" and having the least "AA-AAA titles on gamespot" are two entirely different things, alltogether. If you want to say they are the same, then that's your opinion, however, it certainly isn't a fact.

Reviews are only opinions. Who is to say a game that gets a 7.9 is discounted and a game that gets an 8.0, is added to the overall game list. Your cutoff point is made up by you, and it just happens to be the only imaginable cutoff point where the Wii is losing the the PS3 on gamespot, 20 to 21? What a coincidence? You've never played a game with a score lower than a 7.9 and enjoyed it? For instance, in your list, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles isn't even counted, though many people adore the game.

What if the next Wii game gets a 8.0 and is Raving Rabbids 3, or something. Then the Wii will be tied with the PS3 for AA-AAA games on gamespot. Will that magically turn the Wii into the powerhouse system selling greatest console on the market? Does the 360 having an extra year on the market mean nothing?

I didn't want to get into this, but your argument just can't hold water, nor can it ever, if your argument is "The Wii has the weakest library and that is a fact" because the nature of the word "weakest" implies opinion.

well exclusive is good thing, but does that means multiplats don't matter, if i have to buy one system only why should exclusive or muliplats be any different ?

now, if i say wii has the least number of AA-AAA games, will it make wii looks any better ?

agreed that AA-AAA numbers are opinion, then so if the fact that smg is best game of the year is an opinion .

360 has more quality games this year than wii, so why does head start matters.

if wii gets one more AA it would no longer be the worst (if number same as ps3 without VC titles)!

no one here counts VCs (thats why they are not included in the OFFICIAL current gen ranking list) they were released for previous generations not this generation, and even so how did you end up only counting 21 PS3 titles.

So does that mean the PS3 can count PSN games as well? Also, if you are saying these AA-AAA games are just opinions from reviewers and opinions don't matter, only facts do, then aren't you contradicting yourself?

no one here counts VCs they were released for previous generations not this generation, and even so how did you end up only counting 21 PS3 titles.

First 6 months, my friend. Said it in my last post. Yes, I misclicked. Afterall, I'm not quite a god yet.

Besides that, yes I do count VC titles for the purposes of this post, as it has been said by another poster that exclusive games don't mean anything, therefore, VC titles are indeed multiplat and available on the Wii. They are not games that are "backwards compatible" and they are in some cases, the only released versions of said game.

While generally, I wouldn't list these games, I know, and you'll now find out, that I have been called out by several posters claiming that ALL gamespot scores, and only gamespot scores matter. These games are rated not on their prior value, but on their quality and availability on the VC, with entirely new ratings and reviews on gamespot.

So, while "WE" might not count them, in my own post, I can and indeed do count them, as long as we're saying exclusivity doesn't mean anything in library quality and SMG only as much of a factor as the worst 8.0 game available on the PS3, then I certainly not only can, but should count VC games, since basically, it has come down to the fact that these "lists" are now only a number used in arguments, and no longer mean anything at all, if you understand that.

Also, link me the other thread. I'll own you right now in it, if indeed you are telling the truth. It is entirely possible that one of us simply didn't read the end of that threat last. I have no memory of ever being "owned" by anyone on these forums.
