Avowed is not supposed to be like Skyrim or Oblivion. Avowed is more of a open zones linear combat fun exploration game that takes out all the tedious upgrades and crafting stuff like Bethesda games and just wants you to run around explore and wreck some shit and talk to some NPC's and take quest and have fun with tons of different combat build combos and roam around a beautiful fantasy video game world
Both are great styles of games but honestly totally different with just some surface resemblance but not the same.
Let's face it, this Avowed isn't good enough bullshit is just copium from haters that are trying to convince you they ain't bitter they backed Sony only to get re-release after re-release. Cry harder cows. You'll all be able to enjoy it to the fashion of you're liking whenever MS gets around to re-releasing it on PS5.
Also, the dedicated smear campaign against this game is getting pretty dull now. It started as an "anti-woke" thing, then shifted into this nonsense when that argument failed.
I get that YouTubers need to pretend to hate games to earn ad revenue and spread political propaganda, but can they move on to the next game already?
People are enjoying the game. It got good scores everywhere but on Gamespot. The game is a solid RPG that could begin an excellent series with a few tweaks.

Oh trust me if this was a day one release also on PS the GS reviewer would of easily gave Avowed a 7 or 8 for sure and not employ the fake Xbox Tax.
So...........we bash Starfield for maintaining all of those things in a new game, saying that the game is boring
Yet, we bash Obsidian for NOT doing those things and focusing on making the game fun?

The problem is while maintaining all those things it had a terrible main story, garbage companions, horrific combat, and only really 1 play style which is sad for a BGS RPG. Even Avowed is more fun than Starfield. But it's easy to be better than Starfield.
