Awesome games with disappointing final bosses? (obvious minor spoilesr!)

1. Metroid Prime 3. Say what you want about the game, it was very entertaining throughout.. but the final boss fight... wow.... that was possibly the worst boss fight ever.

2. Shadow of the colossus. I don't know why, but it was very lackluster compared to the other 15. It was like fighting a building rather than an enemy.. i don't know but I didn't see any struggle what so ever in the last boss fight.

3. Bayonetta. LOVE the entire game, but the last boss fight just wasn't entertaining at all.

4. Starfox adventures. Don't remember the final boss exactly, but i remember it was BAD.

that's all i have for now but i'm pretty sure there's more to come.. so what's yours?

Bioshock, it wasn't a good game but it has a horrible boss.

Fable 2. Wait...Skittles_McGee

I've been waiting forever.

Uncharted 2 comes to mind. Shooting blue sap was a lot of fun.

Dragon Age: Origins....the Archdemon was probably one of the easiest bosses in the game.

Assassin's Creed's. Meh.

The last half-hour of the game or so felt like the developers just gave up and decided to quickly write in a half-baked ending that ruined an otherwise good self-contained story.

Gears 2, Bayonetta (up until the climax then it got super awesome),Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank:ACIT and KZ2.

Oh yes, Borderlands had a horrible boss (again, didn't like the game), my friend and I ran through the last few missions to finish the game and we spent two or three hours fighting that boss.

Gears of War 2

Demon's Souls' final boss fight was pathetic, especially compared to some of the great bosses before it.

Batman Arkham Asylum also had a really lame final boss fight, which isn't surprising when you consider most of the boss fights in the game were incredibly disappointing, but it gets extra lame points for basically taking The Joker and turning him into the same Bane-oid boss fight we'd already done three times before that.

And, of course, Uncharted 2. All that intense action and chase scenes leads up to... Running around shooting blue gel while ONE dude with a gun slowly advances on you?

I would have to go with Batman: Arkham Asylum, the game was great but it really fell flat with the boss fights in general and the final boss is perhaps the least entertaining of all.

Uncharted 2. It was an okay fight, but it was the least impressive part of the game.

Gears of War 2. Good lord, that was flat-out terrible. Could you even call that a boss? It's like the developers just ran out of ideas. It was literally a joke. Resident Evil 5. At first, I thought it would be an epic boss battle. I was dead wrong. All you had to do is just fire a few bullets, and run up to him and press a button. That's pretty much it. sammyjenkis898

It wasn't as bad as the boss in Resident Evil 4, but it was close.

Demons souls: the final boss is literally a pile of crap.

Huge let down after how challenging the false king was.

I would like to know that as well. I literally held the trigger for two seconds. I couldn't believe it.

How about a shoot out with him and some of his buddies, maybe throw one or two monkey men in there and call it george.. running from him and having to shoot the sap 16 times is not my idea of fun.

assasins creed 2 by far had the worst boss fight ever in video game history.i beat him with my bare hands. grab him, punch, knee, knee, knock him down, pick him up, knee, punch,knee, knock him down. rinse n repeat..EPIC
