Bad Company 2 completely wipes the floor with Noob Warfare 2

Everyone knows that BFBC 2 is a much, much more complete game than MW 2. Sense of realism in the guns, movement and sound are king in BFBC 2. Its maps are very well laid out and depending on what game mode you are playing can be huge. Wheras in MW 2 its gameplay is all run and gun with unrealistic perks and guns that have zero to little recoil. Oh and those Killstreaks??? I mean seriously? Wow, I get 4 kills in a row and a magic box falls out of the sky with a Pavelow or Chopper Gunner in it. LAME!!! Oh better yet, let me just use one of the 100's of glitches to get to places that cant normally be reached or to equip things that normally take skill to get....spawning with AC 130 that shoots like an Assault Rifle???? NICE game IW!!

Bottom line...

BFBC 2...Realistic, team based, skill based, Class basedgame that doesnt rely on lame things like Killstreaks to keep a player involved.

MW 2...The Halo of "Realistic" military based FPS's. Run and Gun mentality with crazy perks and add ons!! Best suited for kids or people who have no patience for realistic pacing!!!

Im still trying to figure out in what aspect Battlefield Bad Company 2 "whipes the floor" with Modern Warfare 2 in ANY way :|.I think people just like to ride the hate bandwagon, and just how some big name titles have their fanboys, they ALSO have their "Anti-fanboys" ;)

People from BC2 boast about how MW2 kids get wrecked in BFBC2 games, ruoin their BFBC2 games by not playing as a team, don´t play it at all (as only cool ppl are on the mics). It´s really starting to confuse me.

Most importantly, what is the point of these threads. BFBC2 clearly does not beat MW2 in either critical acclaim (94 on MC compared to 88) or sales (what... easily over 25 million units sold¨). So any wiping of the floor is from a PERSONAL OPINION. The critics and apparantly the public do not agree with you. So i highly doubt this MW2 floor wiping is fact. Its that you prefer BFBC2. Then Im glad for you that you found a game you enjoy. Go enjoy it.

And its more like NOOB company 2! See what I did there? Except mines better because Noob doesn´t fit in the place of Modern like it does in the place of Bad.

MW2 is meant for more casual gamers. Everyone is pretty much on even ground regardless of your rank. BC2 is more of a grindfest to get better and better weapons, it takes more commitment.Iantheone

Yeah...the LMGs suck. It felt like such a grind just to get to the next unlock. I was just glad once I got some of the weapons for All Kits. I use the Saiga most of the time as a Medic and only engage in close quarters fights. I used the M1911 at longer distances. I feel like the Medics kinda get dicked with the LMGs. I mean the huge magazine and steady aiming is great, but if you start shooting someone and they start shooting you back the barrel of the gun takes a nose dive and you can't hit them. It almost feels like you have to catch everyone from behind to get a kill with the LMGs.

I'm the same way. I love my PS3, but I can give credit where credit's due. I don't think MW2 is a terrible game (I own it). I just think BC2 is a much better game. They can both be good games in their own right. They just play completely differently. If you try to play MW2 like BC2 or vice versa, you're GONNA have a bad time and you're not gonna like the game. I think it's the same reason Killzone 2 didn't sell better. It's not that it sold badly, I just think the COD crowd tried it and didn't like the way the controls felt so they called it garbage and went back to Call Of Duty.

I know the whole point of System Wars is bashing platforms and games and pitting them against each other, but in the real world as gamers PLEASE try to look at each game objectively based on its own merits. Developers will thank you.

Its pretty blog worthy.

The first CoD was brilliant, the second was good. After that it's been all down hill. The first MW was good by console standards.

im not gonna bash MW2 cause i still enjoy it. MW2 is a different experience. i cant really compare the two. MW2 is fast and hectic, and BC2 is slow and team based. both different IMO. I am playing BC2 a lot more than MW2 right now, but they are both good. i think the reason why i enjoy them both is i really dont sit down and play for hours on end and let things annoy me. i will play for a couple hours with friends, but if im by myself online, i will play for like an hour tops. they are both good in small doses

Regardless, no, BC2 doesn't have local multiplayer. DICE has stated that the Frostbite Engine and Destruction 2.0 are far too complex to render multiple times on console hardware.

If 100% of them were all you'd need to do was destroy the buildings with the crates inside from a mile away with a tank or RPGs or somehting like that.

Just like with Halo there is a need to hate on MW2 for some reason. I think I've played BC2 online for about 16hrs but for some reason I always get bored when having played for a while. This does not happen as often when playing MW2.

MW2 is much more fun, in my opinion. The difference with me is that I don't feel the urge to state in every post that MW2>>>>>BC2..

Uh, what..? The LMG class of weapons is home to BY FAR the most powerful primary weapon in the game.

The M60 is actually TOO powerful if you ask most experienced (relatively speaking) BC2 players (as in the people who have tried every kit extensively and have most of the unlocks.) It has perfect accuracy over endless distances (you can literally counter-snipe with it), and the highest non-sniper bullet damage in the game (well, not counting shotguns.) It kills faster than any Assault Rifle or SMG. On top of that, you can wipe out entire squads with it before having to reload. It's ridiculous.

But yeah, most of the other LMGs are pretty bad..

No no, the MG3 and the M60 are AWESOME. I killed a dude who was using the MG3 with the red dot sight and picked up his kit and said, "Now THAT'S a good LMG!" Needless to say, it's gonna be a while before I unlock that stuff still. :(
