GI says that despite the large focus on vehicles it still features platform elements from the previous games like traditional platforming, tight rope walking and jiggy piece collecting.
- Showdown Town is 16 times larger than anything RARE has created before.
- Every level has a different intro. Nutty Acres begins with a credits spoof of 80's soap opera's like Dallas.
- Note collecting is back and will act has currency that'll allow you to bu vehicle blueprints.
- RARE says there are 15 different challenges spread across 6 different levels. There will also be side missions.

Uhhh the last banjo game was 8 years ago. Calling the gameplay old is not an insult its a fact. Seriously after the beating GeoW2 got after only two years cows would be falling all over themselves to call this a rehash.

I'm a little bit concerned about the focus on vehicles.

SMG was great because it was a pure platformer right down to the bone. I don't want banjo to pull a ratchet or Jak and stray too far away from it's platforming roots.

Dawn of war WAS a great rts as well, but I will be pretty pissed if dow 2 has the same gameplay O.o And I don't expect bk: nuts and bolts not to have any similarities witht he first two, but new stuff wouldn't hurt. Plus, so far I haven't seen any lem bash the first two and the same time praise the new one :S Mabye I missed a few posts...

You are aware the majority of multiplats on the PS3 sell the correct ratio between console install base? The massive difference in software attach ratio comes from the lack of blockbuster exclusive games.

I dont know how i feel about the vehicle bit. I dont really like the idea, but then again, it could be awesome.

Now it truly sucks deciding between a 360 and PS3. 360 has banjo, thats the only game i want for it .. damnit.

I don't know the vehicle idea sounds awsome, but it doesn't seem to be a good direction for the franchise, I would have rather had a normal old fashoned banjo game, and had Rare make this a new franchise, maybe based off the badger in DKR, or the turtle or something... XD
