I thought this thread was about AntiAliasing, but AA = Arkham Asylum of course. Monday morning isn't my sharpest moment of the week as usual..

The Joker DLC is obviously better than a few unnoticeable graphical differences.
idontbeliveit
I guess it's okay to have both.
PS3 Version looks the best, and PS3 gets the Joker (Clickity Click)...
I'm not into minor graphical nitpicking, but PS3 Wins for both categories. So this is a done deal.
Either way, this should be a blast!:)
I'm going for the Joker man, any graphics differences have been negligible on both sides, Burnout was better on PS3, but I loved it on 360. Prototype was better on PS3, I dug it on 360, RE5 was apparently better on 360, I loved it on both systems.
The days of Pixel counting is over...but if you MUST count, PS3 Version looks best too, but I am not big on Pixel Counting...
Still PS3 Joker + PS3 Graphics = Can't miss!
I love me some Joker!. That's usually why I go 360 for multiplats, is the extra content, in this case, it's the reverse.
The BIG SURPRISE for me? I never planned on buying this until I played the Demo, and saw all the great reviews from IGN, GT, and Game Informer 9.0+!
SolidTy
Really? Because of camera angles? IGN and digital foundry says different.

Look at the link, they broke it down, which is more than IGN bothers to do. Anyways, like I said :
The Days of Pixel Counting is over, I'm buying this AAA 9.0 game for the JOKER, the differenences are way to minor to bother....but Lens has been used to pwn PS3 owners, so this was a twist of fate.
COME ON, seriously graphics? Graphics are the same on both, the only idfference is when 360 has better resolution and PS3 has better lighting in games like GTA IV and CoD4, as well as many 2007 titles. Same goes for PS3 guys, PS3 graphics are NOT better now for multiplat games, they are pretty much the same minus the occasional better lighting. Exclusives really deserve a mention though, Killzone 2, MGS4 and Uncharted 2 look great.
Anyways, Joker DLC is too good to pass up. You'll be kicking yourself if you don't go for it when your friends get to shoot guards in the face and wear crazy x-ray glasses.

If you break it down X360- Motion blur, AA, SSAO,better textures, no glass glitch. PS3- Better mip mapping, better lighting, better camera, better shawdows...Hmmmm
If you add Digital foundry to the mix- X360 has slightly less torn frames and a slightly better framerate.
That's certainly fine, it's getting the best reviews, and it's actually multiplat unlike earlier AAA's this year like InFamous and KZ2. This is one game Most gamers can enjoy! :)I don't give a damn, as long as i own the game.
archvile_78
This year needed this game...especially with the drought on certain consoles.
Why would you want achievement? trophies are so much better they actually mean something. You don;t level up with achievements, you don't get bronze, silver, gold and plat trophies for harder goals... all 360 achievements are just some score, thats it.if you own both systems, i don't see why you wouldn't get it for PS3 (unless you want achievements/hate the controller). its free extra content.

Tessellation
Each achievement mean very little since even though they are each given a score value based on the degree of difficulty in obatining it, it still just contributes to one total score. Trophies on the other hand are categorized and counts the number of trophies gained, making them slightly more meaningful. The trophy level system however is somewhat broken since each trophy type isnt scaled very well so loading up on bronzes is a much easier alternative than chasing after 100% completion for platinums or hard-to-obtain golds.
To PS3 owners: How is the Joker DLC, I want it but I recall seeing something about free DLC coming to the 360 in the future so I might as well know how it is in the case that it does come. Toriko42

This may answer your joker questions. To me perosnally though its fun playing as him. He feels different and is not just a skin.

Sounds good, I like the increased difficulty level a lot[QUOTE="Toriko42"]To PS3 owners: How is the Joker DLC, I want it but I recall seeing something about free DLC coming to the 360 in the future so I might as well know how it is in the case that it does come. finalfantasy94

Man that sucks that I miss out on this great DLC.
PC because it is visually superior, modable, and has physx!!!!!!!!!!
painguy1
It doesnt look that much better , and the physics are on little things like the paper lol. The PS3 version is the best, its the only one you get to play as the Joker .
PS3 with bonus contentplus looking betteraccording to the links posted? No-brainer if you own both console, but it's a problem that half of the people that posted won't have to worry about. ;)
Gxgear
That's how it seems, I'm just glad The JOKER (Click Here for JOKER INFO, not just a different Batman Costume) wasn't just some sort of cool looking skin.
Mark Hamill RULEZ!!!!
So many games don't add much else aftert the core experience, other than "Play Hardcore Difficulty" or Hard/Heroic, etc.
In Batman, you can certainly play through on the Harder Settings, but the Challenge rooms add more to the mix, and obviously The Joker adds that much more with his ZANY, Crazy gadgets.

[QUOTE="SAGE_OF_FIRE"]Is the DLC out yet, and is it free? djohnstonXCIIIts released on the day of the game...and I heard it is free it was released 4 days before the game came out actually
I wasn't even remotely interested in this game until I tested out the demo, and saw all the great reviews. I got the PS3 version because of the extra content. The GT comparison showed that there was less self-shadowing on the PS3 version, but who the hell cares!
And the Joker is fun to use. Comical fighting, awesome walking.. - Oh, and an awesome gun!

That comparison is pretty stupid. 360 version is clearer, doesn't have the artifacts when looking at the glass, has better shadows... what looks better on the PS3 version? Oh, the camera. Because camera is part of graphics. And when they talk about seeing thugs better when they come at you is bull. You know why? Because when you enter battle, the camera zooms out the same distance as the PS3 version. Stupid comparison is stupid.
I had the same dilemma on which one to get. But after I realized that the Joker content is just a minor add on for the minigame within the game I could care less. I got the 360 version and it's identical to the PS3 version as far as graphics and content. It's just that one add on and it's not enough to give up my XBL achievements for it.
