Ugh... This BETTER not take place in Arkham again. That would just be plain stupid.. The first game you felt constricted, this one should be totally open.. Feel free! Just like batman normally does! :3

It doesn't. It takes place in the entire city of Gotham.Ugh... This BETTER not take place in Arkham again. That would just be plain stupid.. The first game you felt constricted, this one should be totally open.. Feel free! Just like batman normally does! :3

But how will I see what's going on!bobbetybob
Detective Mode silly.
It's still hard to take a guy in a bat suit seriously. The cast of villans also tends to be pretty comical.

Watch this video to take him seriously from now on.
Batman AA was my 2nd favorite game last year, 2nd only to AC2. Heres hoping that the sequel is just as good.
Arkham Asylum was really well done, and held up pretty good to batman lore, lookign forward to the next one... Also, I know having "robin" would allow for coop play, but PLEASE leave that doofus out of the game. Why have they not killed that dood off in the comics yet?

Because he great in the comics. Even Damian (the new robin) is at least decent.

Can they atleast cover his face? What's with the lame covering of only his eyes? It's pretty obvious who he will be with or without it.

I swear they said this game will have Robin.
ohthemanatee
Please please no robin
you got something against Tim Drake? Tim is cool but I prefer Dick Grayson. But at least it isn't Damian Wayne.Arkham Asylum was my GOTY in '09, could Arkham 2 play off the same magic and pull in the coveted title again? Stay tuned to find out ;)

Somehow I don't think revisiting Arkham will be nearly as exciting as the first time. We've already been everywhere on Arkham Island, what is left?

I think "The Streets of Gotham" sounds better :Ph575309
I was wanting to say that, without the "The".
It fits better, indeed, and it's also the name of a Batman comic arc:
[QUOTE="Pelon208"]
[QUOTE="ohthemanatee"] you got me there, not even Batman: TAS could portray Robin satisfactorilyMystic-G
And lets not forget this on
In Robin's defense... the scenes that didn't include him sucked ass too.
Robin can be a pretty cool guy if done right. Just like Batman could've been a great game if done right, and Rocksteady proved just that.
This is the kind of design I'd like to see..
Outside the comics, tell me there's something good with robin
Outside the comics? Isn't that what Rocksteady is trying NOT to do? I thought they were aiming to stay true to the comics. There are a lot of comics, that interpret characters differently.Rocksteady took the characters out of Batman The Animated Series, not the comics.[QUOTE="Pelon208"]

I hope this game doesn't disappoint. The orginal Arkham Asylum was brilliant. I like that they're putting lots of villains into this new one.

Wll there's a comic call Arkham Asylum, the environment and part of the plot was taken from the comic, but the characters and some part of the plot was from the animated series, so in part you both are right.
Hope it's rated M.GeneralShowzer
It won't be. They are aiming for T like the first to maximize sales.

The Animated seriesMake it extremely violent (rated M) and i will maybe consider buying a game with Batman in it.silversix_
Te great thing about Batman is it is not about shallow violence like Gears.
I wouldn't mind that :DThey should make a Batman of the Future/Batman Beyond game as well. :o
