Batman Arkham Asylum/City sold more on PS3

Just wondering why these sold more on the PS3 than 360. I mean, both these titles won lots of awards and Asylum being one of the top rated on metecritic. I thought that multiplats always sold better on 360.

I have 87 friends on xbox live besides myself only 2 of them have Batman Arkham City. The rest of them spend their time on MW3, BF3. Now a few of them play Skyrim or some sports games but most of them are constatntly playing shooters. My psn friends play a wide varity of games on any given day. The 360 crowd is just into shooters for some reason.

I'm pretty sure they sold pretty close to eachother, and the game is single player so even if it didn't sell on 360 (not true of course, just a scenerio) it's not like it would affect you. Only reason I can think is that the first Batman game had Joker on the PS3 so that's the system people got the game on, so they got Arkham City on PS3 aswell. I don't think there is any esclusive content that I can think of (I have it on PS3)

In any event it doesn't matter, the game looks and plays identicle on both systems. There are plenty of 360 owners enjoying it just like us PS3 guys. Be happy that more people get to play an awesome game.

Why would you need one? If you know how innaccurate VGChartz's numbers can be, you wouldn't be posting them. There's a reason that there is a similar reply from everybody toward these numbers.

Well, to be fair, that site you linked to actuallty does state that for big games like this, the estimations tend to be accurate.

In other words, for those high-selling titles, VGChartz is checking against public data, and they will change their estimates if they are majorly off. Most of the time, they are quite close compared to the worldwide charts.

I don't usually keep track of sales myself. to be honest. I'll keep an eye out to see if the sales are accurate or not this time.
