Batman or Uncharted 3 GOTY for sure. Which will win?

It could go either way. I don't expect Uncharted 3 to blow me away like Uncharted 2 did, and if I'm not enjoying Uncharted 3 more than Uncharted 2 when it released, Batman gets the auto-win. If I had to choose, Batman is a safer bet, that game has everything going for it and is universely appreciated.

For the record, Batman has a single game reviewed under a 90 on metacritic and a 96 average on PS3.

GOTY seems almost pointless with the amazing quality of this year.

A third person cover shooter and a 3rd person batman game...hmm...well netiher, both are good enough games but there have been a number of others this year that are much better in my eyes;

Witcher 2

Portal 2

Deus Ex 3

TW2

Any of those would be reasonable choices, Skyrim is a possibility also, can't judge it yet of course.

I don't think either game will win. It'll probably Dark Souls.

If Uncharted 3 doesnt win, I think it will be Portal 2.

If Uncharted 2 and Arkham Asylum could not take that spot from Demon's Souls, I highly doubt Uncharted 3 and Arkham City could take it from Dark Souls. I'm not saying Dark Souls will be GOTY, but i'm saying that Gamespot will put Dark Souls higher on the list than UC3 and Batman AC. Since Obvlivion couldn't take the crown back in the day, i'm not sure Skyrim will. I'm getting a feeling that Dark Souls will win GOTY.

I would swear a number of people said the same thing about Uncharted 2, two years ago. Back then, Uncharted 2 was phenomenal. It blew everyone's mind. Uncharted 3 will not blow anyone's mind due to high expectations to live up to it's predecessor. So if Uncharted 2 could not win two years ago, Uncharted 3 will not win now. The first installment of a franchise which turns out good is the best chance of it ever winning GOTY. It if couldn't, the subsequent ones are unlikely to.
