Agree, Panzer dragoon orta will be the last amazing rail shooter

probably the definitive rail shooter last gen was Panzar Dragon Orta, Microsoft would be wise to make it high def and and put it on XBLA. The previous gen had a wonderful N64 import from Treasure called Sin and Punishment. That was an excellent rail shooter as well.

Well I know it was published by SEGA, but with Smilebit being disolved and PDO being exclusive to Xbox, I am not sure who would make the call to revisit it as an XBLA title.

Sin and Punishment is going to the Wii's VC, linky. I never got to play the game but I'm interested now.

i've played time crisis 2, HOTD2, but not the third. i didn't like any of them. and yes, they are abominations to gaming

Smilebit folded back in 2004 actually. But SEGA owns the game totally, they could put on the Wii if they wanted.

If anything, Smilebit said that the thing they regret the most was making it for the Xbox. But I agree with you that SEGA should put it on some download service. They're already releasing Rez. (another rail shooter)

games have evolved people! the very idea that all the Wii could have for a new RE game is a track shooter just disgusts me.
