Both games are going to be terrible IMO, but I guess i'll pick uncharted's.

Are we talking about the live action trailer? If so I am voting for Uncharted. Live action trailers have no place in the video game world, because well short and simple... its not in-game.

And don't go slamming me for being a fanboy, because I am not, I love the halo series so back off! I feel like the live action trailer was just to build hype and showed nothing about what the game had to offer.

they can't really be compared. One is more of a live action commercial and the other is a trailer with cutscene footage. If we talk about quality, the odst one wins.

The Halo trailer gave me more of an emotional response. It's raw, gritty and from a commerical standpoint, leaves a more lasting impression in my opinion. That being said, it always makes me think of a Halo movie more so than ODST. The Uncharted trailer doesn't have the same emotional message - but it does get me to thinking about the game itself.

It's a crapshoot for me.

:lol: reminds when the first footage of uncharted 2 came out, people said Drake had gone emo. Anyways, the ODST trailers better

I like both, but I d go for the U2 trailer. I love the musical score!

lol. People really think mashups of cutscenes are better than truly creative ads that are filled with emotion..good one. Crying about not showing gameplay for a Halo game..I didn't see anyone complaining about CGI trailers for Killzone/GOW :roll:DeadMagazines

I guess Sony should follow by advertising GOW with a 300 trailer because it shows hardened, serious, tough warriors of sparta.... but other than them being warriors of spartans its completely unrelated. Just like that trailer was to ODST

I not saying building up hype is pointless but not showing any of the game in a trailer is pointless plus I got more hyped for U2 after seen that trailer :P.

Or a trailer based upon the sole intention to hype a product by showing something completely unrelated to the product other than brand.

I guess Sony should follow by advertising GOW with a 300 trailer because it shows hardened, serious, tough warriors of sparta.... but other than them being warriors of spartans its completely unrelated. Just like that trailer was to ODST

I never said the trailer wasn't meant for hype -- this is an incredibly well-done trailer. This trailer, and the three Halo 3 live action trailers were meant to create hype. However, those trailers also had a story to them which correlated to Halo 3. Those trailers were not *pointless*. This live-action trailer could not be the last, and thus could also tell of a side story point which might correlate to Halo 3: ODST. Again, saying this trailer has nothing to do with the game is a benighted look at it -- like I said before, it gives the person watching the trailer a little taste of what ODSTs are about.

They're both amazing. Uncharted 2's is like a movie trailer, while ODST is more atmospheric.

U2 trailer shows more emotion than the ODST one(U2 trailer has awesome music).

U2 trailer>ODSTtrailer by my opinion. I liked the spaceshipthing hitting the alien though haha.

Well Uncharted actually shows what the game is going to be like. I haven't seen any ODST footage that reminds me of that trailer.AAllxxjjnn

I love halo but I hate that trailer. I want a trailer woe me with gameplay or something in game atleast. I seen enough of Halo ODST to be a first day buy, but as a gamer this trailer was a slap in the face to me. If the game is so great show it off to me, not just give me this rubbish that makes me want to go watch a movie.

Take out the narration of a 300 trailer and erase prior knowledge of 300, you just get a trailer of men of sparta fighting (without narration and prior knowledge you can't know anything what the movie is going to be about). Know imagine that trailer with God of War put at the end of it. Wouldn't that bother you? That nothing ingame was shown, no characters from the game shown. Just Spartans fighting.

I love halo but I hate that trailer. I want a trailer woe me with gameplay or something in game atleast.
