Battlefield 1943 Kill Counts: 360 vs PS3

As alluded to earlier... this kinda puts a kink in PS3 fanboy mentality that a)PS3 is nipping at 360's heels in WW sales; b) PSN is better because it's FREE.

Wouldn't that suggest that there should be just as many or close to as many PSN users out there? Shouldn't those kill count numbers be closer than they are? Or are PS3 owners just not interested in BF 1943? Or maybe free really isn't automatically better?

This is obviously due to two FACTS:

1) PS3 users have many more great games to play and that's why they can't dedicate enough time to only one.
2) 360 users are mostly 13 year old noobs who can't afford a real console and get killed easily.

The PS3 kill count is significantly lower simply due to one thing: I didn't buy the game yet. :D

I was addicted to bf2 for quite a while back in the day, and if I buy the game and start playing, the kill count will jump up about 5 million in a day.

I knew team 360 would come out on top. Bigger install base and (presumeably) more shooter fans give them the edge in kill count. I would have bought it on 360, but I didn't want to have to pay for XBL, plus I hear the 360 version is having lag problems, which from my experience is quite common early on with 360 games, pretty poor for a service I need to pay for, especially when the FREE service outperforms it.

Maybe PS3 players are really good and don't get killed as easily and 13 year-old Gears addicts.

OK we all knew from the start the 360 would be dominating since most people would buy it on the 360 not ps3.

Anyways..a lot of the games I play are filled with noobs and idiots who run around and dont know what they are doing.

Haha, one time I was invading a capture point, when the the phone rang, damnit im right in the middle of the field. I pick up the phone, talk for 30 seconds and finish the convo while theres a couple people around me not doing $H!T and not bothering to shoot me. :lol:

yeah, if your a fan of BF2 like i am. I would not recommend this game, try the demo. I just bought it with out trying the demo, played half a match and have not played it since.

This game was filling the hole in the xbox live's market. no competition = bigger market penetration

PS3 users have already been able to satisfy theyr massive battlefield /wvehicle campaign needs on warhawk since PS3release. for many people there simply is no motivation to buy two games of the same kind.

every one already knows 360 has more kills. reason is because the ps3 points card or money card isn't out in alot of places yet and some people just don't have a credit card.
