Battlefield 2, best multiplayer game ever?

No. Counter Strike:Source is way better imo. I own both, played both. I still play CS:S, BF2? Not so much.

EDIT: Also Quake 3, Unreal 2004, are more fun to play online.

Well, I have yet to download the project reality mod. Which I plan to do. But my complaint was that it was too arcadey and unrealistic. Obviously, I ought to give PR mod a try.

It's awesome during the time I played it but it doesn't get my attention now. I think TF2 is a better multiplayer. I also think Insurgency is a better modern combat MP.mo0ksi

I liked the single player but... the game just never made sense to me. Why did Dice leave in the ability to repeatedly dive shoot? Why can you bunny hop about 6 feet in the air? What is the point in unlocking new guns when it's essentially a game about driving tanks and flying planes?

The game is warped and the special forces add on doesn't do anything but provide new maps and SAS members with post WWII posh accents and the wrong dress code.

Now I've seen everything, someone saying they like the SP, shocking, and that is not sarcasm. Dolphin diving and bunnyhopping stopped being an issue after they patched a nerf in.

Counter strike is meh to me, I stopped playing it after about a month, still get the squad together for 2142 from time to time though.

It's like a game within a game. Nothing beats dogfighting or transporting troops from location to location while a engineer repairs the chopper. nothing beats going head to head with other tanks. You can do so much without firing your rifle.

They should have never messed with sniper rifle recoil or took homing from the rockets. This thread makes me warm and tingly inside. So many good memories.

The idea behind it is amazing. The execution however is poor.

Horrible game engine. Broken infantry play as well as overpowered air combat.

Since the new Version of Allied Intent is being released soon, I may need to find my disk.

TO be honest BF2 is awesome. But Allied Intent is better.
