Battlefield 3 commericals

did anyone see alot of them this weekend, I must have saw it 3 times. EA is trying too hard to beat CoD by advertising the game in April when it comes out in November

Nothing wrong with getting word out that the game exists, even with this much time before release.

Yeah I saw it the over the weekend too at the half-time break during a football match.

Its actually a good idea to air it this early. They want to plant the seed in everyones head that something could be better than MW3 while they still can. If the MW3 ad came out first then all the fanboys would be so focused on that till its release that they wouldn't care about any other game. But since they are showing BF3 first the CoD fans will give it their attention, and then once the MW3 trailers come out CoD will look behind the times to everyone.

Didnt MW2 have a commercial in the NBA finals, or maybe it was just the playoffs.... I think Next month we will hear something about the next COD game, hopefully its MP, but they usually always show SP 1st.

Not at all, I find that pc players use more teamwork in these type of games, I dont join TS servers often but even when I dont players work on a team dropping med packs and the like, on 360 people just played it like cod (BC1). I thought PC players unlocking operation hastings first already proved this.

Well it makes sense to start advertising the game early. They need to get people excited about it and they need to try and steal some of the CoD crowd.

I think its silly that their advertising right now, there is so little known about the game
