Battlefield 3 is Outselling Modern Warfare 3 in Pre-Orders

According to Amazon (NA and UK), and Gamestop, Battlefield 3 currently holds more pre-orders than Modern Warfare 3.

This article was hard to translate so some of the numbers may be mixed or wrong or lost in translation, but overall the fact still stands that Battlefield 3 holds more pre-orders!

Wow, I'm actually very surprised.

When the MW3 teaser came out it was much more viewed, and I also expect(ed) more sales because of brand awareness, but this might speak differently.

Though to be fair, BF3 does come with much more for pre ordering then a poster, so the sales guess is still up in the air for me.

Gotta love sales wars. Imma love it when Battlefield 3 steals the thunder from MW3.

In other news DNF sold over 560k at retail in the US alone (Doesn't count digital sales.)

Let's be honest. MW3 is going to out sell Battlefield 3 by a lot. Unless somehow Battlefield becomes the next COD 4.

I don't know, BC2 came out of nowhere for console and PC gamers. Sure you had all the DLC titles, BC1 and expansions, but BC2 was kind of like a wake up call so no one really got that excited for it before release until it was out and turned out amazing.

As such I can believe BF3 has the possibility ofr beating MW3, but considering the humongous gap in sales MW2 and BC2 had, I'll remain in the middle.

I doubt MW3 with outsell BF3 on PC. PC gamers are smarter than that.

That's cool, but it means absolutely nothing when one considers just how badly MW3 is going to crush BF3.

And CoD4 still isn't as great as BF2. IMHO anyway.

That doesn't really mean anything, as most kids don't pre-order games.

MW3 will win in sales, though I have no doubt i'll be playing BF3 long after i'm done with MW3, both on the 360 and PC.

Everything has to come to an end. Even when BF3 takes over, in a few years something else will come along and end it.
