Just got back from the future and guess what MAG 3 (released 12th Oct 2014) owns BF3...

I loved Battlefield 2 & 2142 but they were glitch ridden & were exploited by hacks constantlly.

Am I the only one that thinks Battlefield is a bit overrated?

Its always nice to compare games that are being released 2 years away from each other and 1 has no info on it. BF2 was fun btw but im still anticipating MAG.

DICE is a much better developer than Zipper, so yes BF3 will be better than MAG. Im buying both, though.

How can people claim MAG to be better when we have next to no information about it. Yes it will have lots of players but ... so?

Battlefield is, and always has been a solid franchise, AT LEAST. Even the worst battlefield gameis very very good.

Dang, I didn't know they announced battlefield 3 yet. I had so much fun with 2142, that was a really under rated and ignored game.

Ignoring all the fanboys in this thread, I agree with the OP because:

- Battlefield is a proven franchise

- It's on the PC so we don't need to worry about hardware limitations (MAG runs at 30 FPS max)

- It will have the same destruction engine as Bad Company 2

- The gameplay will probably be better structured

OMG!!! a game that may come out as late as 2011 will be better than a game released in 2009!!!, only about 2 years to go :D.Stoner-Pimp
