Call of Duty CoD is milked to hell and back, but it's not like BF4 is doing something new or interesting with the BF formula. It'll be more Battlefield, it'll do well, but it's not going to put up CoD numbers.
It's about time we get a game or twoto compete with these franchises... personally I would rather have Bad Company 3 or Battlefront 3 then either of those. However, CoD will outsell BF4. I really didn't like BF3 because it was dead.... what I mean by that is that on consoles (didn't play it on PC) the maps were too big and there were not enough players. I like to run and gun or snipe, but EVERYBODY just flies in helos and jets or rides in a tank. Hopefully with 64 players BF4 will be better... or I will have to wait until BFBC3.... CoD will be the same as always... however I am hoping they use good servers or something. It has been the same lag filled bs on that franchise for years. The games could be great if they were not so damn laggy. I can;t stand games that give unskilled players an edge. It seems as though to me that they add a degree of lag to CoD games on purpose to accomodate players with later reaction times. I truly believe that is why the franchise has done so well. Anybody who says CoD isn't lag king ofthe shooter world is full of shit.
Battlefield will easily trump CoD:Ghosts in terms of being a good game, but Ghosts will easily sell more. There's a lot more brain-dead players with less expectations in the world than educated and thinking players. :P
The answer is easy.. the question we should ask is Which game will be better?
Although I lost interest in the COD series, deep down am hoping Ghosts will somehow bring back those early COD titles up till COD4 quality and put in some fresh new ideas...Â
As for BF4 I'm sure its gonna be great but am quite worried for the franchise, dont want it to end up becoming a new COD !!
If bf4 still uses an internet browser for launching pc games I hope no one buys it. If cod ghosts still uses stupid perks and other shenanigans I hope both sell null. Give me ut2k4 with a present day game engine.

To the people saying "CoD has new engine, BF3 is more of the same" WHY? it will be the same small corridor fragfet that it always was now with smoke and NEARLY modern graphics... big deal. and you say BF4 won't change much? fkin hypocricy.... you can still do 10x more in BF4 than in CoD and actually have variety in gameplay, this time with the proper full destruction, bigger maps, you console **** will actually have 64 players on PS4/Xbox one ect. With all the stupid addons and junk people's browsers are filled with these days no it does not work perfekt for everyone. To rely on a program that has so many variables based upon what crap people have installed is not smart. Run it from inside the game where the developer has control of how the game launches. I'm sure they were trying to do it for some stats based nonsense and it caused tons of tech support headaches for them from morons with spyware on their pc.

COD will slaughter like it always does unless COD is next-gen only and Battlefield straddles both. This is totally off-topic, but do Battlefield games sell better on PS3 than 360? I know Sony pushes it hard like it's their game, but are they seeing any type of reward from it?
