battlefield 4 or cod ghosts selling more?

COD will slaughter like it always does unless COD is next-gen only and Battlefield straddles both. This is totally off-topic, but do Battlefield games sell better on PS3 than 360? I know Sony pushes it hard like it's their game, but are they seeing any type of reward from it?Senor_Kami

The numbers arent 100% accurate as some digital retailers, including EAs Origin, havent disclosed their sales numbers,

COD will sell more by millions, and for me is the better series. I like Battlefield as it certainly has its own feel and style. But COD does some simple things really well and just feels like a big freaking event movie when you play it. That appeals to me more than gritty realism.

Is TC stupid? Just because SW has franchise fatigue does not mean the fourteen year olds of the world do. CoD Ghosts will easily beat BF4. 

Not saying it'll be great though.

Pretty obvious that COD will sell more.

Could go either way. Black Ops 2 didn't sell as well as MW3 and the hype train for CoD is continuing to slow.

That's not poor bullet collision detection that's built in aim 'assist', it's by no means unique to CoD but it is by far the biggest problem with controller operated shooters. No accuracy required, just point in the general direct and let the aimbot do the rest.

On a PC server you'd swiftly recieve a kick/ban for cheating.

Yeah, the auto aim has also been known to tug through walls giving away position

While COD is losing steam, it still has long legs. Plus, interest has been piqued by many since the engine has been worked on for the first time in ages.

I skipped the last 2 CoD games, but I may give Ghosts a try if things have gotten substantially better. I will probably go for it on PS4 instead or PC, even though I know PC will be the best version. Not sure why, but I have always enjoyed COD games more on console than on PC (Except for COD2, the forgotten masterpiece). Weird, I know.

As for BF4, I will get that on PC, where it belongs.

So to answer you...CoD will most likely stomp on BF4 even though BF4 will be the substantially better game.

I prefer Battlefield and honestly CoD makes me sick the only reason you should ever play is to troll the little kids and watch them get mad. If activision or infinity ward made a new Call of Duty and didn't even release any pictures, trailers, news or any information about it people would still buy the game just because it's called "Call of Duty"RawDogRick

Call of Duty: Ghosts will in all likelyhood sell more. Both will be overscripted, walk in a straight line shooters full of racist 14 year olds from Texas against gay marrage, so it's pretty much irrelevant. Go play Red Orchestra: Rising Storm if your looking for good multiplayer shooter.

dat clientside hit detection! Supposedly they worked on the "net code" for BF4

BUT

I be taking my cod on a plate this year, and I think be staying away from BF4 DLC fest for a while...  I swear i hear dice talking more about DLC then the actual game  it self 

I think CoD will sell more and have less technical issues than BF4

Well this is a dumb thread. Of course CoD will sell more.

It's the more popular game by far. That doesn't mean it's a better game...but it is more popular, and that's all that matters to the question at hand.

i think that if BF4 outsell CoD, they may finally start building a new engine because when you look at these two, CoD looks like a joke made by two ppl in a basement in comparison.

Sometimes I think people forget why they buy games. At the end of the day it's about having fun. I enjoy CoD and I've given Battlefield a chance but I didn't find it fun. We should honestly just accept that there are Call of Duty fans and that there are Battlefield fans. No need to call out an entire fan base for their preferences.

I love BF4, but the camping in that game is more annoying than in any other game. At least in CoD you can have a UAV up most of the time to stop those people. BF4 Conquest is amazing but if you're talking about TDM I'd give CoD the edge.

CoD has the "one game per year" casuals in their pocket. Battlefield will never sell more.
